My South African friend's mom owns back rooms and self contain accommodation, 20 in all. She built with her retirement pay out plus bank loan. the SE has crude oil, one of the largest gas deposits in Africa, one of the largest coal deposits in Africa

while Yoruba people don't have the level of crude oil the SE have, the SW does not have gas deposits, does not have coal deposits.

when it comes to natural resources wealth the SE is extremely richer and wealthier than the SW and the rest of Nigeria.


Only reason there's poverty in the SE in 2026 is because in 1966 certain SE soldiers and leaders who had zero knowledge of economics could not forecast the oil boom that awaited the SE region and due to their superiority complex and mindset to always dominate non-SE people they ignorantly chose to destroy the regionalism that would have made every SE person filthy rich and start a civil war..
