funny enough I hardly drink garri even while I was in school, not because I come from an average home but because I am allergic to it.

If I drink garri now, by d time I lay on d bed to sleep it will b as if someone is grinding something on my chest.

You can check any big store near you, but mind you, lactose free milk is always not so popular, and may be scarce where you live. You can find almond milk more easily but the taste may not be the same as cow milk. But it’s a good alternative to dairy milk for those with lactose intolerance.

This is the kind of arrangement I'm going for, without the powdered milk though.
Then maybe some dehydrated coconut flakes.

Without the groundnuts, soaked garri and beans still tastes like heaven to me.

Depending on your taste, but if it’s not coffee, I don’t touch those creamers. I can’t even have it in my teas. Chinese products made de fear all those synthetic stuff. I guess it’s a subconscious reaction to the stuff.

Sometimes l just wonder: How can any Nigerian survive without drinking Garri, at least once in a week?
I drink it mostl late evening, when l are fed-up with other foods in the Kitchen and Pantry.
It brings back good memories that l take to bed.

Doctor and Wifey have advised against it in the last two-three decades but me no send.
I'd rather die eating what l enjoy., something must kill a Man and Garri is my Choice, if it is true.

Even me born in 🇺🇸 but raised in 🇳🇬 till after secondary school. Sipping garri is still my favorite 🇳🇬 meal😋 I cannot eat garri with soup, because it's too heavy for me. But I can sip 1-1.5cuos of garri easily😋

Someone once said too much Garri can cause blindness, I laughed. If Garri dey cause blindness, I no suppose see again nau.

Garri gave me PTSD. I over drink am for school.

I'll drink Garri in the morning before having breakfast, so that the food go fit belle full me. I no dey eat lunch, na Garri be my lunch. After having supper early, I'll drink Garri later at night as well so that I can have the strength to read. See ehn, I drank shege for Garri.

After my university days, I hated Garri immediately. I could remember during one of our prayer sessions back then, I didn't pray for house, car or any other thing. I simply prayed to God to never let me taste Garri again in my life.

Same as my children too, I don't think they have ever drank Garri before. Pikin dem wey dey select food, na them wan drink Garri?

Funny enough, my maternal side is Ijebu. But you see Garri? Taaaaaa! Unless dem dey drink am for Heaven sha.
