According to Clause:104 of the INEC’s “Regulations and Guidelines for the Conduct of Elections, 2026” which was released on the 30th of April 2026, INEC has given to the various candidates the guidelines on how to request for a review of the declared results within 48 hours of the declaration of the results, even before going to the election petition tribunal (or to the courts).

The report shall be written to the chairman of the commission within 48 hours of declaration of the final results/returning of the winner.

The report must contain all the FULL SPECIFIC EVIDENCE which showed that the declared results or return was in breach of the Electoral Act 2026 --
-- (Imagine the candidate gathering all such needed evidence within JUST TWO DAYS, in order for him to submit such a report to the chairman of the INEC for the review of the declared results)

It would have made sense if the ruling APC is ready to abide by the rules.
In the absence of the above this is an exercise in futility.

That's why a serious party will have polling agents in every Polling Unit and a national situation room to get reports directly from the polling units .

Is it after elections you will go looking for evidence as if the voters and INEC officials will not go back to their houses after voting.

All of us no that this will not work at all. How on earth do Inec expect a candidate to gather a substantial evidence within two days . This country is a joke

NDC should work to make sure there are polling agents in all the polling units
Their men should be ready and alert with a well prepared situation room so they can get the result and collate it themselves

Make nobody dull o

Why do you have agents at the polling units? Is it that difficult to collate evidence from polling units where you feel there were malpractices?

Don't sound like you will be gathering evidence from all the 177, 000 polling units around the country!!

Let's stop looking for excuses biko!

What's worth doing is worth doing well! Arm your agents with bodycam and stream or you contract that small boy streamer to teach you since Una no sabi?😀

This is even an opportunity to prove that we can have live transmission from every polling unit!

No be everything be fight, show proof then make your case!!

You should be praising Tinubu and not giving NDC expo.

Give honor to whom honor is due.

Unless you and all your agents in all the Polling-Units (and Collation Centers) nationwide are actually ready to kill the riggers on the spot,, then you don't need evidence of results.

But if you really intend to go about the election through the good “bloodless” way, then you must also keep the evidence as you keep your eyes vigilance while watching your results

what is difficult for Nigeria to organize elections like South Africa in Wich results is shown to the world in real time!, the moment the voting stops, universe sees the results instantly, the winner know The looser know. No Court case, as individual votes! The results reflect in an open screen for the whole world to see not the one they will be using bîro to clean like Rivers state results

Believe inec are your risk. Saying as if they mean it. Any political party banking on inec are deceiving themselves esp opposition party. Opposition party should have their plans and strategy and not rely on already prepared results by APC electoral commission

Election was held on Saturday 25th February 2023.
Results were finally called around 4am on Wednesday 1st March 2023.

Three full days passed.
And the result was announced on the 4th day.

Meaning that, the election took 5 full days
(from start to finish)

Inec wants to be the judge of its own before going to court, they are already telling us what will happen before time.
Hmmmm, I see a war of hunger coming out very soon, it will be between the rich and the poor, and also between the people and the politicians, the people will not just go against them, but they will go against their family.

Now you have another 48hrs to request for a review, thats morebthan enough time fir a serious party and candidate to ga ther all their evidences.... unlike those devious charlatans claiming they won the election in 23 but couldn't present any evidence in in court.

What if you actually need evidence from all polling units if what Wike did last time happens all over the federation? If it's that easy why didn't the iNEC give it self a 48 hours window to release results at all cost? Make una dey reason, it's difficult for iNEC but it's not difficult for others.

As for me, I have no affiliation, as far as am concerned, all Nigeria sets of leaders are irresponsible and wicked.
U might have come here with sentimental stuff but let me brief you on this note, a normal sane human being knows Nigeria is a useless country.

Like I said if excuses is what you want you will have enough!

So feed yourself with enough since that satisfies you.

I repeat you won't need evidence from EVERY polling unit-that is impossible because you won't lose EVERY polling unit!

U sef reason am na!

INEC did not write the laws that runs INEC, the legislative arm did so free INEC abeg!

The problem with you lots that make so much noise online is that you feel your noise matters and it will make your candidate without strategy!

Ok let's see how it will work this time!
