Bat is all about smoke and mirrors.

Federal tertiary institutions received almost no capital releases in 2025. Some got less than 15%.

What about about overhead costs? Federal Institutions are barely afloat because overhead votes are barely released and even when released, it is grossly inadequate.

So it is as if the government is simply using funds that should have been for running Institutions, to sponsor nelfund. In the end, the students are placed under a debt burden while Institutions are financially strangulated.
