Please house, is it advisable for someone earning 160k net salary in a private firm to quit and join NIS?

Is the NIS a graduate cadre? If yes you shouldn't be asking this question, the salary is 225k+ and even if its the immigration assistant cadre (olevel) its still far better than a private firm salary of 160k if you shoud get good posting... though the salary is little above 100k for o level, but good posting can complement it. Above all there's room for upgrade and promotion which I'm very sure Nis promotion is very fast compare to police and few other pala-military agencies.

I am also a victim of the 2023/2024 exercise, and that was the last time I applied anything government job. The most annoying thing is that we were made to travel for both CBT and physical screening for some of us residing outside our state of origin.

Bro that year it was tough for us. But today, I’m really grateful for where I’m today.

Someone that Joins on the age of 37. Which rank will he likely retire with. Do they pay training allowance and what's the pay also like?

You have no worries. But I guess you sighted a photocopy of your APL with the person doing the capturing? They'll give una. My office did same thing years ago. They gave out APLs 2-3wks after capturing.

Joining at 37 means you only have 23 years left to serve, with grace and and help of God you may like retire with ASSISTANT COMMANDANT OF CORPS.... salary is almost same with NIS though NIS is slightly higher

Am is a 2nd level both at Firs and Cbn. The 2nd level in a typical ministry is level 9.

Good morning guys, i was shortlisted for CDCFIB NSCDC screening, but ive had a mistake where i picked a wrong state of origin during the registration, please will this be an issue for me? what can i do, my screening is scheduled for next week.
