Dora Akunyili was very horrible in my view. Had a direct experience with her and she was a nasty, mentally colonised elitist who worshipped white people.
Care to share further? Others might not think same of your experience.

But why are you so pained by his opinion, he never dragged any tribe or paint any tribe bad from what he just said, he only talked about his experience and observation of a particular tribe...... and here you are bringing tribalism, dragging other tribes into his statement. You are the one bringing tribalism into his statement or are you trying to say if talked about how good someone from a particular tribe in Ghana is good to people around me, does that make me tribal with my statement??
The problem with some of us, is that we just dont stop at over-do things, we do it in a deliberate manner to derogate others.
Just because One Candle is bright, does not mean other Candles cannot be bright or are not bright.

I am a proud Obidient, l will vote for Obi but l have seen him loose a lot of Admirers, not just admirers based on Tribe, but from across the Country who are put-off by the behavior of People like you and the guy who made the original comment.

Very garrulous, unabashed, indiscipline, pompous, arrogantly 'denigrating others, by Ndigbo Commentators and Supporters.
These uncouth Crowd are not helping matters and are creating a Barrier for us to break through across board
(North, South South, South West and central), despite the woeful performance of the current Government.
You are indirectly comparing Ibo to other Nigerians, not necessary, not at this point.

It reminded me of a popular comment by some people when, Arsenal won the Premier league but did not win the Champions League.
They said they are happy that Arsenal did not win the Champions League otherwise, they wont let us hear word and their arrogance ehn, no go be follow-come. grin grin grin
Funny as it were, as an Arsenal supporter, i see reason in that statement - We go paint everywhere RED. grin grin

On a serious Note, this was the same warning sounded by Seriake Dickson, complaining about the comments and online behavior of Obidients.
That is an alarm bell we should all heed, If 'Things Fall Apart' for P.O, in NDC, then we have by our hands, handed Tinubu a second Term.

I have cited all these examples, so that you know that your comment and those of people like you, is undeserving, it causes more problems for us.
You can celebrate your success, without making others (feel) insulted.

If your Farm produces very Big Yam this season, better harvest it quietly without calling your next plot farmer, a Lazy farmer.
If your farm performs poorly next season and you need help, Na you take your Mouth find wahala. undecided undecided

I was at a wedding in Abuja at the International Conference Centre, around 12 years ago, a "society wedding" by some big shots where her son was getting married to a girl I knew, etc, and we in the crowd were standing and seated around in front of the stage where the couples' table was. Gowon, Dangote and other elites were there.

Dora Akunyili then saw this white man standing nearby, and apparently knew him, and as she made her way frantically through the crowd to reach him, she passed by me and gave me the most violent shove.

The kind of shove that said "you're nothing, get out of the way". And next thing I look up and see her with her wide 36 teeth in flashy smiles with her white man.

I was so disgusted.
I understand how you feel and anyone in your position, will feel likewise. angry

But ONE BAD Report/EVENT, out of THOUSANDS of Good Reports/Event, does not make some a Bad Person.

Maybe she was so focused on her acquaintance, that she did not even notice that she shoved you aside?
You know how such environment usually is, everybody is flexing and it is an Igbo affair, for that matter.

I apologize to you on her behalf, if she were alive, l am sure she will apologize to oyu if it comes to her Notice.

But should you still be keeping malice with a dead person, what happened to 'do not speak ill of the dead'?
Forgive her and let it go, please.
