NOTICE TO APPLICANTS FROM ENUGU STATE FOR THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY 78 REGULAR COURSE

The Enugu State Government wishes to inform all indigenes and residents of the State who applied for the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 78 Regular Course that the Screening Test for admission into the Course will hold in Enugu as follows:

Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026

Time: Applicants are to arrive at 7:00 am

Venue: Bishop Otubelu Juniorate CBT Centre, No. 3 Emelugo Drive, Hillview, Trans Ekulu, Enugu.

Applicants can access the NDA Application Portal and print their allocated examination centre.

Applicants are to note in particular that it is mandatory to come to the examination centre with their Acknowledgment Card, Form, Screening Test Admission Card, JAMB Result Slip and two (2) postcard-sized (3.5 x 5 inches) photographs. The photographs should show the chest upwards and should contain the applicant’s Name, Examination Number, Examination Centre, Course of Study, and the applicant’s signature at the back. All applicants are to comply strictly with these instructions.

For further inquiries on the Nigerian Defence Academy Screening Test (NDAST), applicants can reach out to Lt. Col. MM Bako on 08063240100 or send an email to academyregistrar@nda.edu.ng.

The Enugu State Government wishes all applicants success in the exercise.

It's unfortunate some Nigerian are gullible to this extent. It's imperative not to understand the level of your woes when the external forces manage to invade the country. You freedom will be taken away if you are not kpaid. Go to North Korea and see how recruitment is done. People are practically been forced. You'll understand Nigeria has been soft and practice true democracy. This matter is simple as said by CG Musa, the minister of defence. Yes, and it is sad, and wrong.

But Nigeria does not have a law that mandates that every young nigerian, male and female, serve one year in the army. Better get your senator to pass that law so that Akpabio's daughter too will do service and see how bad it is too.

None, because Nigeria does not have a law that guarantees that every adult male and female will serve in the army for at least 2 years, or more.

The day it does, you can ask this question. Right now, just as you have chosen not to join the army and volunteer for sucicide missions, so also have the politican's kids too exercised their right not to join, so stop complaining


Besides, we have a Special Forces unit. That's their job...suicide missions, among other things. And selection into that unit is very very very strict. Nothing like volunteers.

you are talking as if this nda admission process is fair, many of us tried gaining admission there years ago but to no avail if you are not connected.
the position they want the common man to join through regular recruitment while they keep the commissioned position(nda route) for children of politician and top military men.
