Lack of money is not the real reason for poverty but poverty of the mind itself. If a man knew how to make money and what it took to get money if he made millions of dollar and lost it he would still make it back but if didn't know the modus operandi involved no matter how much he was given he would still find himself in poverty before long. |

aswani:Oh wow! I had several such with a number of Boers in the 2000s. They were all unanimously savage on Black South Africans and how they will soon run SA down. An SA lady was doubting my experience on this platform only a few months ago. At the time, Pan-Africanism made me defend SA Blacks as victims of Apartheid that need time to be educated. That affirmative action was necessary to bridge the gap between previously privileged Boers and disadvantaged Blacks. I had only previously met very accomplished South African blacks. One of them very renowned. So, the Boers' picture of SA blacks just did not resonate with me. I thought they were just bitter over end of Apartheid. Well, what those Boers said seem to be majorly true for the average SA black (majority), from what we are now seeing. |

Mynd44:And what is wrong with that mentality? It is okay for people who calls themselves our leaders or politicians plunder and loot public money for their own personal use but weird to share it amongst the masses. Are you are illiterate? |

MakindeHassan:For a consuming economy like theirs, it will trigger inflation. Even here in Nigeria, we produce less and expect money distributed anyhow and not expect inflation. |

RandDigital:It's not a fake news I watch the video of phakela saying that. He even said they should give him 5mR for feeding, then he would drive out immigrants from SA. |

You can't share such an amount of around N83m to each citizen of South Africa, without causing inflation. |

Dancebreaker:It's painful, like you I tried to present the "level playing field" argument. Thank God I am no longer in touch with him, I would have had to apologise to him, which is not a problem, for my extreme naivety. These Black South Africans, and until the majority turn on the (so called) minority doing the nonsense, are just the worst of humanity. Money for nothing people. |

georgeakins:As long as the country remains one united entity, everybody has the right to live and work wherever they choose. If you want to leave your village and go live elsewhere, no one is stopping you. Same way you do no have a right to tell anyone where to live or work or do business. Those Igbos you hate so much have a long-standing cultural tradition of enterprise and mobility; i.e. they will always leave their communities to far away lands for work and business, and will only return home for celebrations and enjoyment. The fact that you think Igbos travel because the south-east is uninhabitable, that thought process stinks of ignorance. Perhaps you need to travel out of your village to enlighten yourself. By the way, the only reason you tend to despise the Igbos in your land is because they are actually successful in their enterprise. If they were poor, wretched or hungry, you wouldn't even pay them any attention... Jealousy is indeed a very toxic and destructive emotion!! If you so hate the reality of Igbos being successful in your land, then bloody expel them from the country and give them very strict visa conditions. I've never seen a situation where you'd hate someone so much but can't bear the thought of letting them go. Confusion! |

CodeTemplar:Like I mentioned before, it's often the wretched and unenlightened in society who ignorantly assume that the successful outsider is the source of their misfortunes. A typical trait of this demographic is to latch onto the same lame narrative: "oh, these foreigners are committing crimes, so therefore we must chase them out." Same story in the UK, the US etc. - "Oh the immigrants are taking our jobs and our women, and even our university degrees"; always the low lives in society coming up with this narrative. You claim the foreigners are committing crime, yet when it's time to act, you glaringly ignore those on the street who may actually be committing the crimes; instead you go after the successful ones with legitimate businesses or jobs who live decent, productive lives while you languish in your squalor. Jealousy is indeed a very toxic and destructive emotion!! |

obailala:So true as saner societies keep their types on the extremes knowing once they get rid of foreigners, their mundane lives wouldn't change and they will look to turn on others as their frenzy needs feeding. Hopefully mainstream South Africa starts pushing back, this standing around discreetly nodding their heads is dangerous. |

BioData45:Nigeria’s case is different. We just recorded 7 trillion balance of trade surplus so yes we have some little leg room to increase salaries and improve money supply without triggering inflation. The inflation we are currently facing is cost push due to oil prices not money supply. |
