You are in a bus travelling and suddenly a traditional doctor stops the bus, says he's seeing an accident ahead and wants to drop off with his bags. A pastor calls from the back seat saying, 'Nothing will happen, let's go.' As a passenger, what will you do?
If the traditionalist is powerful to see, why can't he avert the accident?

On a serious note, I don't care so much about the juju man or the pastor. Both are con men.

I will be more bothered that they are sowing fear and confusion into the mind of the driver. That's where the real danger lies.

If the driver looks troubled or unsettled over what those two god of men are saying, I will jejelly disembark with the native doctor.

"Holy Spirit" is not a christianity thing. Holy Spirit is your intuition

I will definitely do as the spirit leads, it has never failed me before.

At times I abort some missions when I get signs, I don't need any pastor or babalawo to tell me anything.
What mission?

Sounds like crime...

Continue the journey

Both of them have no power to see the future
Re: What Would You Do? by kpankpangolo: 10:47pm On Jun 17
Now we can see that people who claim “God protects” don’t believe their own words. Left to me, I’ll remain and continue my journey. I don’t believe in spirits, whether the devil or Holy Ghost. I do my own thing.

Both the pastor and traditional doctor are conmen who prey on gullible people.

Re: What Would You Do? by dechriz(m): 11:17pm On Jun 17
It depends on the location where the native doctor drop...
Re: What Would You Do? by ouigy99(m): 11:18pm On Jun 17
I will come down from the bus ...... To search the native doctor, maybe he has stolen something from someone's bag in the bus and is using accident format to escape ...

I would listen to the traditional man, most men of God don't know what they are doing, particularly the ones in Nigeria.

Christianity as a religion is a multi billion dollar industry here in Nigeria, fake pastors cashing out on gullible Nigerians.
Weldone.....babalawo in Nigeria don't make money. No fakes among them. Some people behave as if their problem is Christianity. Congratulations

I will just drop ooo,who pastor help.people wey Dey do business
Re: What Would You Do? by Easyincome24: 11:25pm On Jun 17
Whatever answer you choose, try to reverse the question to see if the argument still holds.
Say, if a pastor comes down from a bus you boarded, saying, he sees an impending accident, but a traditionalist shouted from the back that, nothing will happen. Who would you choose in this case?

If one could stands with his choice for both scenarios, then, that is a consistent argument.
Re: What Would You Do? by Kalulu44: 11:30pm On Jun 17
CaseSensitive:
I'd trust my Holy Spirit and would most likely get off the bus with the "traditional doctor". A pastor herds a flock of sheep, A real ifa oracle sees with the third eye and guide you to navigate life accordingly. This is who we were before the colonisers brought their religion and told our ancestors that our spirituality is evil.

Ifa is not evil. Esu is not satan.
But they sacrifice blood to ifa and esu

As it should be.

Apart from the spirit leading, our guts feeling might also be right too but many dismiss it and when the unexpected happened they'd be like and I had this weird feelings.

Re: What Would You Do? by Mcslize: 11:54pm On Jun 17
Many of you are saying follow your instinct. Which instinct? How many of you have a functional instinct?

You think every Tom and Jerry has sharp instinct? It's a gift and not so many possess it.

For your instinct to work very well, you must stay clean for a very long time without engaging in copulation with any woman to keep your body undefiled, and you must stay away from evil deeds either by committing atrocities of any kind or engaging in things that will chase off that gift.

How many of you even dream and remember your dreams like you are watching a TV and when you wake up you still remember everything?

How many of you dream even when sleeping in the day time as far as you close your eyes, you will start dreaming. How many of you?

So you see? Sharp instinct is not something that every Tom and Jerry has.
