AnonPoet:Its just plain wickedness on the part of the bank. It's what they do. They intentionally frustrate you, with hopes that you will leave the money and move on. If I was that man, I would sue them. Since it took them two weeks to revert the money, it's already ground to sue, and the fact the reverted the money, after he went live, is also a plus. |
Ok Mr Blogger, is Observing The Story.
Like we both know, the story could be false, but .... . It has happened and would still happen in our country. You know how they're over here. People hardly go to the courts to seek compensation, so these crazy bullies think they can do as they please. Imagine going to court for redress on this. The compensation be like playing sure 2odds with the osusu.. Smh |

In the next quarter, they will declare hundreds of billions of revenue. This is one of the ways they achieve that. Stealing from customers. If not for Salary, I would have closed down all my commercial bank accounts. Money no kuku dey any of them, again. Too many nonsense we tolerate in this country. From government to Everything is designed to frustrate or kill you. |

GTBank is fund of this behaviour and their customer care are the worst. I had a similar issue on transit where I was debited I got the failed transaction receipt. I immediately used twitter to reach out to the customer care and uploaded the receipt. Also followed up with an email. After back and forth I was asked to visit the bank. They keep giving 2 weeks for resolution till I just couldn't keep visiting the bank. 3 months passed , 1year passed and now it's been 6 years. Terrible bank |

GTBank is a criminalized bank. In 2022 I paid my wife's application fee (supposedly through GTB) to study a masters degree in Ghana, the school claimed to have not received the payment, I sent the money again. At the end the school did not receive the two transactions and as well GTB refused to refund my domey account till today despite all efforts I made. That I am still banking with them in my local account is something I must reconsider as soon as I make up time to go to another bank for account opening. Rubbish people at GTB |

elderbros:Is because of people like you they keep doing the same evil. You should have take it up with them by suing them which you can still do. You will get back all the money back and also be compensated for your time and every other expenses. So many people left them the way you did and they have made enough from it and that’s y they keep doing it bcs it is now becoming a way of making money illegally to them. If we don’t stop them now, other banks will join and you know Nigeria system already, they accept fraud as long as they are getting their own shear from it |

Stanna2025:I stopped using them this period. I couldn't track my transactions, so I didn't know if they stole from me. They made everything clumsy that I was totally confused. No transaction history, alerts of previous months kept entering. This was a very active account that manual tracking wasn't appealing. It got to a point I just emptied the account and bade it farewell till date. |

Kobicove:I used to say this till their last year's system upgrade or what did they call it. GTCo is a terrible bank. Don't wait till you learn from experience. Last year when I abandoned the account made it about 13th year with them. I had some issues which I overlooked over these years but last year's was the last straw that broke the camel's back. I strongly doubt a very active account can be operated for that long with GT without issues. I think they're feeling the exodus of customers because few weeks ago, they sent this attached email. I'm sure it's a broadcast campaign to recently fleeing customers ![]()

I pity who trust Nigerian banks these days. Kuda bank is busy opening business account for scammers. Where on earth can a scammer open a full fledged business account with fake KYC and business registration if not in Nigerian banks |

Kobicove:The fact that it is happening to other customers like you should make you very concerned. I have been banking with them for over twenty years, and I have decided to treat any transactions involving them with extreme caution. |

Fuckyoumod:The actual reality is that "because someone had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone had a bad experience". It is quite childish to make decisions out of someone else experience. They say experience is the best teacher. Hence, people make decisions based on personal experience. That is why people will still keep their money there till thy kingdom come. |
| Re: GTBank Holds Customer's ₦5.3 Million Until He Created A Scene At Their Branch by intruder15(m): 8:21am On Jun 18 |
AnonPoet:What you have to understand is that when banks reverse funds to someone that is creating a scene, it doesn't mean that the bank have the funds with them all this while. They do it from an out of pocket point of view. That is, the disturbance is affecting the bank operations which is costing the bank money. What happens afterwards is that they thoroughly review what transpired, confirm where the money truly is, then make decisions after based on the final position of things. Hence, they may even reverse the credit much later when they can confirm that the receiver actually received that money if they later did. |

flexyrule:I watched his video,he said they told him the money had gotten to the hospital and gave him one paper and latter where telling him to go and ask flutterwave for his money can you imagine this people?I went to withdraw 100 Euros from my euro dom acct in their airport road immigration branch in Abuja and when I deposited the funds they were in in 100s but this people where giving me 10,10 euros Abi na 20.20s ,I can’t remember exactly sha but very small denominations and said that’s all they had. I went there on like 3 occasions and the lady was telling me same story just because they wanted to dispose of those small denominations and wanted me to be victim when everyone knows small denominations are very difficult to change and the abokis if you manage to get who will change them, will cut so much from the rate they would have given you for big denominations..How can you tell me on 3 different days that you only have those small denominations to give me? Gtbank is NOT what it use to be. You sound like their staff, make una de do well o |
