Guys I said stop using GTbank their entire formation are yahoo yahoo staff right from their CEO down to their gateman.

If your cash is still in GTbank better go and withdraw it all and closed down the account they are the worst bank in Nigeria history based on my experience anytime I passed their building anywhere I feel like I use bulldozer to pull down the structure with the way I h8te the bank.

My 250k missing from the GTB is yet to be accounted for till now.

The best way to deal with GTB is to borrow from them through Quickcredit. They will be treating you well if you are one of their loanees, because any nonsense like this you will dump them and they'll never get back their loan from you.

He can only win damages if taken to court.

Without court action, he wont be paid punitive damages.

The CBN could fine the bank but the money wont be paid to the man.

All this issues about gtb is making considering closing an account I have with them for a long time which am currently not using due to what happen last year.
I did an update on my biodata or as u call it KYC with them. Do u know these people revert the update to the previous. I was mad and decided not to use the account again. It is just there with no money in it.

Mine was a bill payment they claimed I did 2 years earlier they didn't debit. 499k that a customer sent me for a job they debited me 425k and put me into serious problem that period. I went back and forth until I abandoned them and the account

They do this a lot.
Later they will start announcing huge profits that is not commensurate with services offered

Yes just to add to what you said, you already summed it up. The directive given by CBN is just 24 hrs for settlement whenever things like this happen.. And NIBSS database is so robust that no funds can disappear in thin air. . Most of this banks ennn

From the experiences of some people that I know, they do this often. This usually happens with accounts that have steady inflows and outflows. The transfers or bill payments do no hi through, you try a number big times, thereafter they convert to a sort of loan where you have to pay interest on the failed transfers, even it is after years.

Are you kidding me. The transfer they claim was not found on my statement of account for that year they frabicated, as a matter of fact I never initialized that payment. It's just that I couldn't afford a lawyer to take them up. They are thieves

Don't be surprised it could be the work of an account manager who used the money was waiting to use another customer's money to refund and later transfer the hospital bill to the intended account.
