I'm so sick and tired of people demanding to know what Tinubu did with the "savings from fuel subsidy removal".

FOR GOODNESS SAKE, GO TO YOUR STATE, and look around and see if new roads and other public projects are accelerating in number.

AND GUESS WHAT YOU WILL FIND.

In EVERY STATE there is increased activity in terms of infrastructural development, from schools to hospitals to roads to low-cost housing, to stadiums, to ultra-modern markets etc.

Why?

Due to what AI ChatGPT describes as "an increase in federal allocation to the states of HISTORIC PROPORTIONS".

The allocation they are getting now is X 5 or more from the subsidy era.

I mean, just look at Abia state.

The transformation going on there is truly something to behold.

Utterly amazing and incredible.

Enugu state, Anambra, Edo, Ebonyi, Delta, Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, even SOKOTO STATE IS getting its act together.

The states are all Construction Sites right now.

SO STOP ASKING TINUBU WHAT HE DID WITH THE MONEY.

HE GAVE IT TO YOUR GOVERNOR!

I tell you what, Anambra has been doing roads before subsidy removal. Right from Ngige, rural roads have rung around anambra. What Soludo is actually doing is expansion of some roads to beat traffic. Without subsidy, more roads by km were constructed by previous govts in anambra.

Secondly, is that why just 5% of the budget allocation for the fg infrastructure has been released since 2023? Did the president handover the balance to the states as well?


Tinubu is yet to define outstanding in terms of performance. Previous govts were paying subsidies and funding projects at the same time. Buhari even built rails while paying double subsidy.

You're only contradicting yourself. Why do I have to travel round the states to see something you are implying is ubiquitous in Nigeria? Shouldn't those projects be close to every part of Nigeria, as you claim that scale of infrastructure has increased?

You've also avoided answering if the big funds that states get from Nigeria's saviour Tinubu is the reason why just 5% of national budget for roads has been released since 2023 despite hefty and unprecedented savings from subsidy?

Incorrect! Apart from the 15 trillion naira Lagos coastal road which was commissioned at 30 kilometers, what major infrastructure project is currently ongoing or even completed by Tinubu? Buhari built roads, rails, airports and Ports. E reach Tinubu turn and we all have to "go back to our states" in order to see what he's doing with our money. Whereas, the data (not propaganda) says only 5% of the capital expenditure for roads was released in 3 years. Contractors besiege the Ministry of Finance HQ, protesting everyday for their money. The National Assembly is still holding seatings to approve the extension of 2025 budget implementation and we are already in the 3rd quarter of 2026.
