Local hunters working alongside security operatives have successfully rescued a kidnapped victim and neutralized three suspected kidnappers during a joint operation in Ikare, Akoko North-East Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to the Ondo State Police Command, the rescue mission was launched following credible intelligence about an abduction incident in the area. The combined team reportedly engaged the kidnappers in a fierce exchange of gunfire, leading to the death of three suspects.

Two other suspects, identified as **Yahaya Isa (20)** and **Ismail Ismail**, were arrested during the operation and are currently assisting investigators.

The victim, **Mr. Tijani Aremu**, was rescued unharmed and taken to a medical facility for examination and necessary care.

The Police Command commended the bravery and cooperation of the local hunters, noting that the operation underscores the importance of community participation and collaboration with security agencies in the fight against kidnapping and other violent crimes.

I once told a friend that let the govt withdraw the military, allow mobile police, civil defence and hunters to tackle kidnapping. They will achieve more success than the army.

Ordinary local hunters neutralise bandits and the Nigerian military arms that have been budgeted Billions of Naira for annually could not rescue Nigeria from terrorism throughout the years

God bless all those that involves in this successful rescue operation more power to their elbows. What happened to the three kidnappers awaits all the kidnappers,the bandits and the terrorists.

There is no big deal with all these bandits and kidnappers other than the overwhelming arms and ammunition that they have over the Nigerian security forces.
It's only trained ISWAP and Boko Haram that the military suppose dey reason strategy for, but it is even surprising how military bases are being overrun over and over again as if our soldiers noor get training again.
