You are wrong; that you are qualified doesn't mean you will get the job. Have you gone to a recruitment day before? If yes you won't say this; it's even worse in Nigeria.

So he shouldn't hire staffs for fear of them being poached? How now? If he keeps hiring expatriates, do you think it's sustainable to be paying expatriates for every single job in the refinery? You always need entry level graduate trainees and also if he was paying industry standard then those staffs won't have left in the first place. If you don't want to lose your workers to your competitors, then pay them well. It's really that simple.

So for your mind na Fulani herdsmen Dangote supposed hire to run his refinery because they are from the north? When you build your own factory hire your village people to run it. By the way, why does little things trip Africans so much? A politician and his cronies in the business sector would steal your commonwealth for years but as soon as he drops some bags of rice or build flyover una go hail am as the best.

This woman should be appointed INEC Chairman. She will do a fantastic job. She is someone who can't be bought with money.

Pay probably gonna be massive turd. Gone are the days when working at an oil company was attractive. I could earn much more than an oil worker in my house.

if the so called best students didn't go for the tour how do you expect them to benefit? Sometimes what a good entrepreneur look for in the applicant is not academics qualifications but the interest in the job and the passion to learn more about the job.

That's so thought of him, those students are very lucky.

They will take another ones na. Life is a cycle. People leave companies everyday and new ones will replace them. Only the few that stay heads to leadership.

If there is cost of training, it will be passed on to consumers of fuel and fertilizer. Kapish!

Hopefully their parents didn't take loans. But even if they took the loans, its really a great thing for them because its like going to school for free and then getting a job after graduation. With this Dangote job, it may not take them up to 1 year before they finish the loan repayment.
