Determination and drive is very different from the selfishness people are correctly pointing out. He's a top athlete without a doubt but that ugly side of him is ruining things in this later stages of his career when he should be treated like a god.

Compare and contrast his attitude with Messi his arch rival and the difference couldn't be clearer. Messi also possesses that drive and determination that has brought him and his teams unbelievable success but he's not all about himself and extremely selfish.
