BlueRayDick:Madueke's saving grace is that he has a specific skillset that others in England or Arsenal don’t have which compensates for his lack of footballing brain. He enjoys speed tax. His direct pacy style enables him to win penalties to unlock low blocks and that's about he only value he brings that put him on the plane to the US. I so much h*te the way he laughs when he bungles play. Almost like a r*tard. |

ThierryJay:There's nothing pacy direct about his style. He only started England's first game because Saka was not fully fit. He dosen't possess any skillset that can ever make him bench a fully fit Saka either at Arsenal or in the English national team. Saka's style of play even has a high style of winning PK compared to Madueke's. Madueke na dirty abeg! |

Omoluabi16:I thought Ronaldo could play with 10 logs of wood so why all these complains about his teammates? You people told us he was more popular and he had the streets so why the obession for him to be treated the same way Messi is treated by his teammates? Have you seen how Messi treats his own teammates? Does Ronaldo treat his own teammates the same way? |

BlueRayDick:Without saka madueke shouldn’t even be starting self ,i Kuku talk am that day ,he shouldn’t be second choice behind saka ,they are better off playing rashford there |

Lana1:Nobody said Ronaldo could play with 10logs of wood. Obsessed ke? Messi is not the first person his team mates play for so forget that talk. |

andrewbaba44:this Ronaldo is selfish talk Sha.. 23 years in the game and this 'selfishness' has brought him this far. It has brought every team he has played in/with multiple success. Drive and determination na him una dey call selfishness. |

CrystalTiger:I really hope Portugal change tactics and start launching all balls to Ronaldo. If Portugal fail to win they will still find a way to blame everyone else except him |

Sportsweb:put the name aside, the records aside. The man is their captain. A national team captain of india qatar or any country is not just another player. I'm trying to draw a parallel with Lionel messi. We all saw what happened with Messi when he played with PSG when nobody send him papa. He was terrible. Him no run? But an Argentina or Barca that plays for him he becomes godlike. Play for this man, he will score. E no too hard. Suddenly everyone thinks a striker should not score but pass to a midfielder to score. As how? |

Omoluabi16:Don't mind them. I love the man for his ways. 23yrs career nor be beans. |

Omoluabi16:Determination and drive is very different from the selfishness people are correctly pointing out. He's a top athlete without a doubt but that ugly side of him is ruining things in this later stages of his career when he should be treated like a god. Compare and contrast his attitude with Messi his arch rival and the difference couldn't be clearer. Messi also possesses that drive and determination that has brought him and his teams unbelievable success but he's not all about himself and extremely selfish. |

[quote author=Ellexy post=139768453]See how Messi's teammates treat him you said but have you ever seen Messi trying to steal Enzo Fernandez or MacAlister's goal before? Have you seen him being disgusted that a fellow teammate won the best player award? Or have you heard he doesn't talk to his teammates if he doesn't score? Respect will always be earned and not demanded. has ego no be today. Everybody knows. The solution to that ego will never be sabotage. Will not be trying to demean someone at the tail end of his career. Take that ego away and he'll probably have an unfulfilled career like hazard or Neymar. He doesn't talk to his team mates na just gist. Never had that before. We've seen sadio mane brood, other players brood too for a second if they don't score. Means nothing. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Omoluabi16(m): 4:57pm On Jun 19 |
folake4u:Honestly. 23 years! I love him too. Messi's world cup has ended the goat debate but Ronaldo earned his respect a long time ago. If he doesn't win this world cup, he won't be the first person to retire without doing it. It will be a honour to be bested by only Messi and perhaps Pele. What annoys me is his team mates attitude. Those English pundits.. people like hazard. Let them give him that grace. For the last time! |

andrewbaba44:Even Rogers can play that Madueke role well sef. In fact, I prefer that 16-year-Old boy Dowman to start ahead of him at Arsenal....but I know seniority will always give Madueke edge over the boy. Madueke will have one or two good moments in a game and annoy you for the rest of the game. Na only Arteta know wetin he see in him wey make am sign Madueke sha . |

Omoluabi16:You have good taste, Sir. Him winning the World Cup or not, CR7 still remains my GOAT 🐐. He's in the same category with Messi and Pele, like you rightly said. We should give honour to whom it is due. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Joezinho: 7:32pm On Jun 19 |
Funny how CR7 is disrespected because of this egoistic aneema. He should GTFO man utd abeg. At 31 he’s never played in a UCL QF and has lost every European final he’s reached at club level. Always acting like prime de bruyne. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by MorataFC: 7:56pm On Jun 19 |
I just don’t know where this sudden obsession with the World Cup came from, from fans who once ranked it below the Euros. If you’ve won “the best,” why cry over the “inferior” one? Abeg, spare us the rant and let us have our breathing space here joor. |

The camera men at this world cup have been rubbish. They are more interested in showing the celebrities in the stadium instead of the baddies. |
