We all know that the contract was awarded based on personal interests and not for the benefits of Osun people. There are several eligible businesses in Osun state, paying tax, paying staff members, who could have benefited from this but the dancing Governor chose to pass it through the backyard. That is the concern of Osun people, so it is not a matter of starting small.

You don't know what transpires that makes Samsung what it is, never say never ..every entrepreneur knows you don't say no to any deal that challenges and elevate you, moreover the Governor has done a lot in ensuring most of his contracts stay local even if at the end you might invite technical partners. That way local economy is stimulated . Most of the beneficiaries are Osun people unlike what the former administrator did sending money and contracts to Lagos People.

Says who? What do you expect? This is one of our major problems in this country. You award a building contract to a tailor and expect him to give you the best service. You said we... "can't complain until the tailor defaults or quality of work is subPar", yet there are Civil Engineering experts and building contractors who were trained for the job; you ignored them and chose a tailor, then expect an excellent service.

Let's take Lagos for an example, a city claiming to be a mega/metropolitan city but chose to keep illitrates, touts, hooligans in the helm of affairs of the transportation. This sector alone generates or has the capacity to generate billions of Naira annually for the government but the government can't fully track all the resources generated because there is no verifiable data of revenue generated. So, indirectly, the government is just empowering the agberos and area boys controling the system.

Which mega/metropolitan city in the world has ever done that? In a country where we have scholars graduating from the university of transportation (an institution with researchers: Professor's and PhD holders) to become bankers, insurance brokers, teachers and online vendors, while the area boys are in charge of the transport system, what would you expect from such country?

Until we change our approach in this nature, we would keep getting the same result. We are who we are.
