callthefred:Buhari saw plenty evil in what Shekau and Fulani herdsmen has been doing to your people and other Nigerians and you voted them? Bola Tinubu once asked in 2021 that where are the cows if Yoruba elders claimed it was Fulani herdsmen that tried to kidnapp and unalived Mr Fasoranti's daughter even after the victims gave personal account. Yet you voted Tinubu to become your President. Tinubu never saw anything bad in Nigerian soldiers shooting at Endsars youth protesters at Lekki toll gate and yet you voted him. You guys and hypocrisy are like 5&6, reason Nigeria keeps getting destroyed before your eyes while u all play dangerous tribalism politics even to your own detriment, ire oh |

Kanwuliajeje:Most people reacting to this have not fact-checked anything. They did not click the link. They did not verify the source. They simply saw anti-Tinubu material and rushed to celebrate. That is the problem. This is not credible news. It is YouTube propaganda dressed up as reporting — the kind of content increasingly manufactured because Peter Obi is facing serious political and intellectual pushback. But even assuming, for argument’s sake, that such an incident happened, the principle must be clear: political violence is wrong. Full stop. Those celebrating attacks on one candidate should not cry tomorrow if their own candidate is harassed elsewhere. If it is wrong for Peter Obi to be attacked in Ekiti or for Obidients to be assaulted in Adamawa, then it is also wrong for Tinubu supporters to be attacked anywhere. Democracy is not thuggery. You cannot condemn violence only when your side is the victim. That is not principle. That is hypocrisy. |

ogolemati:I have campaigned for over twenty years that Nigeria must free itself from oil dependence as it was in the first republic and if eight years of Buhari is the only possible stepping stone to that then it was the right thing to do since Nigeria today will not close if there is no oil money. Oil from 90 percent of revenue is now 25 percent and dropping. However I was not among those that supported Buhari but they obviously did the right thing from the results The Yoruba would have been really foolish to vote en masse for Jonathan the second time considering that he didn't give the Yoruba even five percent of his appointments despite their huge population |

ogolemati:You must be a kid. The best thing that happened in governance in Nigeria since the military sacked the first republic and since after the civil war is having a revenue that is not dependent on oil. It is more important than solving corruption because the source of money itself is the cause of the corruption. I have been preaching this for twenty years and I would have commended any president from any background that implemented it. Sacking Jonathan was crucial for the Yoruba of course because he was disrespecting them. We know the revenue was oil money back then but it does not mean the Yoruba should be disrespected by giving them less than five percent of appointments and implying they should go to hell. I didn't support them but they did the right thing. Again you are a kid who will not recognize progress if you collided with it. |

Putinofrussia:Insecurity, you call it legacy... Economic distress, you call it global.... I really then want to know and understand what are the responsibilities of government. Because if EVERYTHING is not his fault and NOTHING is his responsibility. Then what are people who want these things solved going to vote him for. You expect people just to vote him in because.....of what... Ha e you seen a company or business man employing staff just for employment sake. Is it not to do the work of productivity and troubleshooting with the aim of growing and prospering the business of enterprise. If you as a CEO had your highly paid staff say this to your face. That the problems of the company causing it to literally tank are 'legacy' and there is no solution because of global economics, what will you do with him... I keep in saying this. You folks who are close to this man and his government, perhaps benefit from it, love it to bits...why can't you reach out to it for a little advice, why can't you tell them the simple truth. Do you lie to someone or about something you love and cherish. Do you not want it to succeed. Why do you folks gain by deceiving your dear government that all is well and they are on track when you know in your heart it is not. Why are supporters of this government not at the forefront of giving it direction and impetus if you truly want it to succeed. |
