How can you run for presidency MULTIPLE TIMES and fail to clinch one attempt? 🤷🏾‍♀️Even Mr. Peter Obi has limited his FAILED attempts to TWO! That is what I call POLITICAL SWAG!

Know yourself nor be curse!🍷

You gotto know when to hold, fold, walk away or run.👍🏽

Atiku does not know when to hold, fold, walk away or run. That is aimless desperation at work especially at such an old age. He really should be hiding.🫣
2027 will be Atiku’s 4th time on the ballot and Obi's 3rd time on the ballot. Obi is not far-fetched from becoming a serial contestant as well. Atiku just happens to be ahead as he has been a VP in the past.

Did I dispute with you about the evidence you provided of obi saying what he said...?

My argument was that obi knows atiku would have won him in a primary election or as consensus candidate for obvious reasons as long as ADC is concerned.

Which was the reason he left ADC. Who is arguing with you about what obi said when everyone knows politicians say what they like to suit their purpose even at different times or circumstances.

You are talking about disrespect and matching energy with energy meanwhile you are the one who brought disrespect and insults to the conversation I thought I was having with you in a calm and respectful way.

You don't even know me. So just carry your energy and wotowoto whatever and go away.

Hedonisco:
Atiku seems to be the most unintelligent senior politician we have in Nigeria. What he lacks in political intelligence, he overcompensates for with excessive ego and stubborn self-confidence (delusion).

Instead of playing smart politics by stooping to conquer as it were, doing everything necessary to win over Peter Obi and his supporters - even if it means making public and explicit power-sharing commitments (e.g. Obi will be in charge of the economy and so on, I will serve only one term, and I will ensure that his vice presidency becomes a clear stepping stone to the presidency after four years), he chose to carry on with very silly, dismissive arrogance.

Of course that arrogance and lack of strategic negotiation/communication alienated Obi and his supporters, and here we are again with a three horse race. Atiku/Obi would have been an iron clad, rigging-proof, unassailable fait accompli. The bottom line would be that Atiku would achieve his life long dream of becoming president. Is this not the ultimate goal? Or in which planet is arrogance a political strategy, for a non incumbent for that matter?

Now Atiku is running with the virtually useless Rotimi Amaechi. I don't understand the logic. How exactly does he plan to win the election?

He is not the incumbent, so he cannot plausibly rig the elections or have more resources to do vote buying. Neither does he have any governors to help him conjure some magic as was the case in 2023. And of course he has no organic supporters anywhere in Nigeria, not even in the so-called North (he is no Buhari), so what really is this man up to?

He cannot get 25% in ANY Southern state. He cannot get 25% in any middle belt state (e.g Plateau, Benue, Taraba and Nasarawa). He cannot get 25% in Abuja. So what is the election logic for him, other than just an ego driven exercise in futility?
May God bless your wisdom.

I have sat down many times and thought about Atiku and his many Presidential contest blunders and I keep wondering why he lacks good advisers and allies to tell him some hard truths.

Atiku has pride. I don't know why he think winning primaries will automatically transform to winning general election. he is not destined to be president. honestly Atiku and obi combo would have be a big challenge and can dislodge APC from government. same insecurity APC benefitted in 2015 might have been to ADC favour but with both of them on same ballot.

Like I was shocked wining Obi over was all he needed to do

Few promises but instead he sent his foot soldiers to try to intimidate Obi and his supporters

Threatening not to even give him vice after the primary

2019,2023 was atiku to lose and he lost it

2027 is his to lose again , he is clearly losing it

The unprovoked attack on obi n obidient by atiku guys even till now was stupid ,they play their hands too early
It wasn't Atiku who came up with the slogan "Obi or nothing". Everyone knows the ADC gave Obi so much concessions all in a bid to make him stay. He was one of the last to join the coalition and the first to leave, deceived by the likes of Tanko and Aisha Yesufu who are only after campaign funds. He also got the leeway to field candidates from his camp in the FCT by-election. Immediately Kwankwaso the mole, joined the coalition, Obi began to move around with the "OK" t-shirt while still in a coalition, something Kwankwaso has never done till date. The handshake that was offered to Obi was not just to him as an individual. It was to the Southeast for them to get an opportunity to align with the North. Obi chose to move solo with his region, but no region can do it alone. However constrained, a form of alliance already exists between the North and the Southwest. Tinubu played the long game in 2015.

I mean no offense but you are so fxxking rigid.

You don't have the intelligence to acknowledge a superior argument when you encounter one. A brainy person (no pun intended) would stop responding.

Just like a commenter noted, you have come across so many on this forum as "intelligent". But you are destroying that perception so quickly with your strong head.

This part, I am fully in agreement with.

Atiku lost Peter Obi in 2023, then lost Wike.

You saw the result in Lagos and Abuja, he really needs PO.

In 2027 again, same mistake.

Like, didn’t you learn something from 2023?

If he had made public statements like “PO will lead our production economy and security”, it will be acceptable to most PO supporters because that feels like substantial powers that will enable PO act

For only 1 state, Tinubu tolerates Wike’s excesses, just to have his support, talk less, PO with over 6 million supporters
Atiku is too proud. even if he will not honour agreement later but a smart politician will just use that lamba to get presidency. maybe he is afraid of how he was hostile to obasanjo and thinks he will get that treatment. ameachi was a good governor but don't have even south south appeal currently to harvest vote for Atiku and not to talk of south east.

I know it's a matter of time before you atiku people play the tribal card.

We long saw your true colour that's why we insist that it's PO or tinubulations continue.

Mark my words, there is no pathway for Atiku's Victory in 2027.

The over 6millions heavily suppressed votes are from PO region alone or have any Igbo politian endorsed OK since the alliance?

Obi's votes are not transferable. Wasn't that what Obidients said? Amaechi does not need to deliver any state to Atiku. Amaechi is a stronger candidate than Okowa was. Atiku won Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa in 2023 and got over 25% in Delta. No candidate will win the SS in a landslide in 2027. Votes will still be shared.

Tribal card? Obi got 95% of the votes from his region and that amounted to 6 million. Atiku got 50% of the votes from his region in 2023 and that amounted to 6.7m. Can Obi get more votes from his region? If yes, how? Atiku will definitely get more votes from his region this time. Politics is science, not emotions.

"Obi got 95% of the votes from his region and that amounted to 6 million". You can imagine this kind of barefaced lie, spewed with disgust and condescension.

Peter Obi scored over 2 million votes from the north, 1.9 million votes from the South East, 1.2 million votes from the South South, and over 800, 000 votes from the South West. And these are severely suppressed votes.

Peter Obi also brutalized both Atiku and Tinubu in Abuja to the extent that neither of them could get up to 25%, in the nation's capital and seat of government.

Yet you have the audacity to claim, like your master Atiku, that the bulk of Obi's votes are from the South East. Desperately trying to reduce him to a South East local champion even with clear empirical evidence to the contrary.

Cut the grass low and the snakes will show. Thank God that the so-called partnership with Atiku did not work. I can't imagine people like you and your kind in Atiku's circle having anything to do with reasonable Nigerians behind Obi who genuinely want the country to succeed.

Should I even respond to this? What's your stake or my business in whether the partnership with Obi and Atiku works out or not? Are you going to be a member of Obi's cabinet if he wins? This is the emotions we speak about. Bottomline is that Obi got 95% of his Southeastern region, yet it wasn't enough make him president. Atiku got barely 50% of the Morthern votes but yet, he got 6.9m votes with a bulk of those numbers coming from the North. The North split its votes four ways (Atiku got 6.7m, Tinubu got 5.6m, Kwankwaso got 1.4m and Obi got 2m) and still managed to determine the winner of the election. That's real leverage and numbers don't lie. If anything, I have always held the view that for Atiku to win, Obi needs to run independently. Unlike in 2023, Obi running in 2027 will be a disadvantage to Tinubu more than it will be to Atiku. Politics is science, not emotions. Listen to Dele Momodu's analysis that he just gave today.

Mr OP, Atiku has issues with funding. Obi cannot and would not provide the kind of Funds Amaechi has pledged for Atikus presidential bid. Amaechi doesn't talk about funds but people do not know that he is amongst the richest corrupt politicians in Nigeria. All his affiliated businesses in oil and gas, banking, real estate, hospitality and retail are doing extremely well and this is besides kickbacks from Chinese loans, NPA racket when he was minister and over bloated contracts awarded for rail projects. At the moment, his kastina to maradi rail project awarded at the tail end of his stint as minister for $1.3b is nearing completion, just imagine his kickback from that project alone.
