Today makes it 6 years since I opened my first trading account, in 2020. Although I entered this industry then with crypto, in 2019 with trust wallet. I'm not looking for engagement though I just thought I'd share my real journey, not the instagram , loud version of lifestyle people usually post.

So ‎the first two years, I lost money like mad lol. A lot of it. I didn't have no structure, no risk management, i just dey copy random signals from Telegram and paying people hoping that something will click.

When nothing happened, and I'm back to the same place I left, I almost quit more than once. Anybody who tells you they started winning immediately is either lying or extremely lucky, and luck doesn't last in this market trust me!

‎But by 2023 to 2024, I stopped treating trading like gambling and started treating it like a skill. I decided to learn myself, got another mentorship and went back to basics to study price action properly. But most important thing is that I learned why risk management matters more than any strategy too. God is also by my side too, cuz I pray and I am a spiritual person. I was grateful I unlearned a lot of bad habits I picked up early.

‎Things slowly started clicking after that. But it didn't zup overnight. By 2025 last year, I touched $1400 dollars or so and that was how I knew there is no limit to how much I can be making, and I was trading with actual consistency, not just luck on good weeks.

Eventually got certified as a FundedNext Elite Trader too. But I still lost some funds. But then I already gained ground to come back from zero. Also, I was down at some point but then I knew the skill I had no one can take it from my head I only need my laptop, internet, the funds from my investors and my writing business. I had also started domain flipping too when I had better money so they paid back and I was floating.

‎Six years in, here's what I know for sure: this market is not scam or running like everyone thinks... it is over risking that takes you to zero, not the industry. There is serious money if you know what you are doing and meet the right people. It also rewards patience and punishes impatience brutally. If you are desperate you will destroy yourself. Most people who fail at forex fail because they wanted my six years result in two months. It is a journey and not a one way street.

‎This year, I decided I'd start taking on a few mentorship students, mostly because I remember how lonely and confusing those my first two to three losing years were, and I wished somebody had actually sat with me instead of just selling me a course and disappearing or selling me trash.

This is just to show you, nothing is impossible under the earth and ‎If you're somewhere in your own year one or two right now, frustrated and wondering if this market is even real, I get it, I was there too. Well my journey started in 2023, so far so good I can't say I am profitable because as it is now I don't have anything, I am learning and building myself daily, I've seen my potential in this industry, I've been providing signals (free) for more than a year but I've not enjoyed the fruit of my labor till date. I know people who made life changing money from my signals, yet none of them came back to say thank you. For what it's worth, the fact that you're still building and self-aware about where you are is all that matters. Nobody dey my bro. I'm telling you as someone who was doubted until the signs showed.

So just pray to God, go low and focus harder is smart too. if you don't have funds, get a prop util you can come back with a win. That honesty will serve you well long term and you will touch better funds soon on God.
