African players lack goal scoring skill and confidence.

That Ivorian winger had no reason to make attempt to trap that clean pass. He was supposed to hit the ball as he was approaching and whatever the outcome is let it be.

African coaches need to focus more on teaching their players how to score. Tell them learn to shoot from afar to perfect their goal scoring skills.

Ivory Coast played well but lacked goal scoring skills

If Germany wants to go far in this tournament, Leroy Sane should not be anywhere near that starting lineup

In Africa , Nigeria is still the country with the best attack.. caf should have done everything to rub nigeria into this tournament..

Senegal, Ghana and Ivory Coast don’t have the strikers… waste of slots…
Pls stop this nonesense drunkard talk. Nigeria is the best according to you yet was beaten by a stupid team as SA and Dr Congo. Did they tie their legs from scoring and then qualify? A failure will never accept his failure and that’s why he will continue to fail.

Is he not African himself? His parents are immigrants to Germany from Sierra Leone

This is why Osimhen will keep scoring goals anyhow. Any ball you see like this, slap am enter net, no need of cutting anyhow when you are not the grandmaster of cutting and tipping, GOAT Messi.

This is a huge lesson that will resonate to every team for generations to come.

Ivory Coast na serious MUMU team.
They are not a mumu team.

They'll learn from this.

Would not surprise me if they make the semi-finals.

Same thing Senegal did

Ivory Coast did same thing

Why won’t you have a finisher striker …?

Arranged the slowest , non reactive people in front of goal… people who can’t hit ball to net… nonsense
Very annoying.

This has always been the nemesis of all African teams. They lack goal scoring skill and confidence.

Very sluggish when it comes to scoring goal which is the main target of playing football.

They did played well but lacked goal scoring confidence and skill.

Their forwarders are too slow like snail

Germany is very beatable

Ivory allowed Dem too much respect and possession, cost them the game

Plus that clear chance inside the 18yard by the ivorian striker he should have hit at once decided to trap 🙆🏻‍♂️

So it is the responsibility of African coaches to teach foreign based players how to score? 🤔

Adingra had all the time in the world to score but decided not to. This is what you get when you fumble at a golden opportunity.
Even if he shoots and it eventually ended up as an off target shot, that would have been better than that nonsense he did

Ivory Coast should blame themselves. They had all the opportunities but fluffed it. They lacked poor game management
Forget game management...!

This was a game they were practically in full control of, but that dumb mentality of joking around where seriousness matters simply wouldn't let them make progress.

From Amad to Kessie, down to Diomande... Bunch of unserious players thinking this tournament is a joke.

It is very good for us to be at home watching others play. We had the opportunity to go to the world cup but decided to mess up. Finidi George with zero sense of football was given the opportunity to etch his name in gold but dude decided to ensure we never qualified. How do you explain a country like south Africa qualifying ahead of us with our star studded team? Then, we had playoffs and again Congo beat us. We are an unserious nation. Let's watch others play until we're ready

Complacency caused the Ivorians to lose the match.
