They have qualified already. Curacao cannot beat them up to 8-0. Na 3 dey qualify for group now.
That's good for them... Still a huge disappointment.

This is a game they had practically won... So annoyed right now.

They did all the work, just for a subsititute striker to take all the glory.

African players lack goal scoring skill and confidence.

That Ivorian winger had no reason to make attempt to trap that clean pass. He was supposed to hit the ball as he was approaching and whatever the outcome is let it be.

African coaches need to focus more on teaching their players how to score. Tell them learn to shoot from afar to perfect their goal scoring skills.

Ivory Coast played well but lacked goal scoring skills
That deadly instinct to score and finish the job is lacking in that team.

With what I have seen, African teams won't go far because all of them have no single striker.

All the African teams lack finishers. They are doing well in the midfield and even defense but when it comes to their forwards, na complete zero.

Now tell me how can a team do well in football if they don't have good strikers and goal scorers? How can someone call himself a striker or forwarder and you cannot hit ball at all cost and you cannot run?

I remember when I use to play ball, I was the point man, I was well known for shooting ball to score even when I wasn't balanced. I was always thirsty of scoring goals. My only nemesis was that I lose strength so fast, I can't play more than 45 minutes and my heart will start racing and I will feel like fainting. That was why I quit football if not I would have aimed to be like Ronaldo and co. My mentor back then was Ronaldo Delima of Brazil and Thiery Henry of France.

I swear I was a wonderful striker that would have made Nigeria proud if not for my lack of strength to play for long cry

That's why I get furious with players not performing well. How can you be a professional footballer making millions and being celebrated and you cannot do everything possible to be among the best?

All my life I am always among the best in whatever I do and I am proud of myself for that. I rather quit than be a mediocre angry

I know you don’t have much of energy and capacity inside your head ..

Have you forgotten how Nigeria wasted so much at the beginning of the group games.. drawing to common Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Benin and Rwanda ..

But poor qualification round happens time to time even to best of teams in the world

Virtually all the African teams. It's as if they don't even desire to score, honestly I don't get it.

All the African teams have been playing well but they lack scoring skill and the burning desire to hit the ball into the net.

And they lack speed despite our heavy meals, it is well oh honestly I feel so angry cos I expected Ivory Coast to beat Germany because Germany performed woefully

Ogbeni, no dey talk that kind thing. Ivory Coast played very very well. They almost ran away with a win but squandered chances. And it’s mainly because they don’t have strikers. How can you call the efforts they put in today a joke? You sure say you watch that match? huh

Calling South Africa or Congo "stupid teams" makes no sense. If they were so "stupid," how did they finish ahead of Nigeria and qualify while Nigeria did not?
Nigeria is a football powerhouse because of its talent, but let's be honest: its success relies heavily on players developed abroad. Meanwhile, clubs from South Africa and DR Congo have consistently achieved more on the African club stage.

DR Congo's TP Mazembe reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup and even played against Inter Milan. South African clubs have also been regular contenders in African competitions.

When was the last time a Nigerian club reached those heights? Before insulting other countries, it's worth looking at the achievements of their domestic leagues. Respect is earned on the field, not through insults.

It is very good for us to be at home watching others play. We had the opportunity to go to the world cup but decided to mess up. Finidi George with zero sense of football was given the opportunity to etch his name in gold but dude decided to ensure we never qualified. How do you explain a country like south Africa qualifying ahead of us with our star studded team? Then, we had playoffs and again Congo beat us. We are an unserious nation. Let's watch others play until we're ready
Nigerian would have been disgraced at the world cup.Is it Iwobi you are calling star studded lol

Don't blame the person you quoted. Ivory Coast disappointed all of us Africans tonight.

I expected Ivory Coast to win Germany.

Ivory Coast did played well but lacked strikers and finishers.

Their entire forwarders lack speed, very sluggish and indecisive when it comes to scoring goal. It's as if they went to compete for the person that will dribble ball more than others.

How can that winger make attempt to trap that clean pass that he ought to have hit with the speed he was coming with? That was a very clean goal lost on the altar of foolish winger that wasn't supposed to be in footballing profession angry

I feel your pain bro. I can’t imagine why anyone will get that amount of money and not perfect their skills to be the best. CIV played very well but the strikers were not hungry enough. Too bad. Many people had high hopes.
