anonimi:Mobile phones (GSM) was introduced sometimes after year 2,000 except those that were using Turaya and not everyone can afford it then. yes there was Pipe borne water and free education as you've mentioned but don’t forget that before lots of student would go to school back then they would have to hawk one or two items to sell or even after school, let me remind you, nearly all family usually have small or big farm that they are engaging back then.. and some will have to go farm first before thinking of going to school and that was why food production was sufficient back then except if you reside in Lagos or some other cities.. do we still do the family farming as much as it was in the 90s? Life was good but there were other things missing which the new generation are enjoying like the technology advancement. If you attended higher institution then you would know what it means to get your Medical done or if you have to borrow materials from the school Library. With the use of internet and AI you now have all information at your palm.. even in the 70s when they said Nigeria was better. They were also suffering and majorly of Nigerians back then are living primitively. Like I said earlier things will never be the same.. we should be sure that we don’t stop evolving. |

anonimi:The minimum wage was also 3000 naira if I recollect so what exactly was so glamorous about it if one must subject it to reason. Petrol has never been cheap Nigerians just didn't pay the true price at the pumps you paid for it in underdevelopment in all other facets of public life. There was also flippant armed robbery, although kidnapping outside of some incidents along the SE corridor was non existent. |

Rapmoney:This one is now pretending to be a pastor/apostle on TikTok. They never repent when they are hot and young. They only suddenly remember God when they hit the wall and are out of rotation |

Openyamind111:From all you listed, it shows that Nigeria is actually retrogressing. Even the farming you talked about is a plus. It is nice if people have gardens where they farm as it shows the availability of lands and organic food in the society. |
