I would see the top African footballing countries as

Nigeria
Senegal
Ghana
Cameroon
Morocco
Egypt
Algeria
Cote D'Voire

These are the traditional Football great from previous years.

Other countries aren't strong at Football.

Asia invested heavily and still it's Japan and South Korea holding them up, Australia is trying to get into Football, China hasn't been able to figure out soccer and the rest of Asia is just whatever (they're adding ME countries and Oceania to boost themselves).
Your list is hard not to agree with, although any african team at this world cup deserve to be supported to win, while we look beyond the in house rivalry. I wish to see a situation 80% of african representatives make it to the second round of the world cup at the very least. It is a collective shame to have 10 representatives and only 2 maybe goes past the first round. Morocco getting to the semifinal at the last worldcup had only won an african nations cup in 1976, and was not necessarily seen as a big strength in top 5 african teams based on antecedents. Who knows if Cape Verde will make Africa proud at this world cup?

African teams tend to have a weak mentality at most world cup showoffs, and below optimal in performance, this i feel is a bigger differential with Asian teams. African teams more often than Asian teams have way bigger stars. Qatar forced a draw with Switzerland yesterday, S/Korea also won their game against Czech, Australia won as well. Asian teams in 3 games, have won 2 and drawn 1.

We should rally around ALL african teams at the world stage. i was ashamed to see a top journalist on TV acting and speaking as a troll.

Answer himself grin...what a joke.. what did he do in previous world cups ... he cudnt lit up any world cup until fifa had to dash him penalties per game when the score line was 0.0 , to give the fraud a head start ... without those dubious penalties he wudnt go pass quarters... just like previous tournaments
Obviously you are very much correct.
Messi did nothing in the previous world cups because they are really way below his standard.
How can he just win only 2 MVPs in 4 W/Cs
Not topping the highest goal scorer in 4 W/Cs
That is really bad of him.
However, this below average performance of his will continually be a lifetime dream of self deluded waSIU and his fans😀😀😀

Comparing Argentina that had already won 2 world cup with Portugal that had only qualified for 2 world cups at that time ... Comparing Argentina that featured in the very first WC to Portugal that first featured 33 yrs later ... Comparing Argentina that have always had superstars to Portugal... its like comparing Harry lanes achievements in spurs with lewandowski performance at bayern ... now kane has joined bayern and he is now regarded as best striker in the world ... now imagine Messi was Colombiab and Ronaldo Spaniard.... club level that they both played for top clubs , Ronaldo beat Messi hands down... Ronaldo gave United and Madrid 5 UCL . Messi only did it 3 times with one club , of which his final UCL win had Neymarbwritten all over it ... Messi could only perform in one club , one league... Ronaldo dominated the top 3 leagues in Europe .. when they both started playing for their national teams , Argentina had won copa America 14 times with 2 Wcs and had reached the final 4 times... while Portugal had never played in a final of any competition until Ronaldo and they won 3 titles... its like comparing Barcelona with Everton... Portugal was just like Poland or Norway ... Ronaldo inspired this new generation of players ...thats class...just like kempes and maradona inspired the class of Argentina stars that followed.. Now thats the difference... pele inspired Brazil, kempes and maradona inspired Argentina... Ronaldo inspired Portugal... Messi dint inspire nobody

Yet your country couldn't qualify to play FIFA WC? imagine missing out twice in a row? big shame!
Talking like you didn't know the shape of the super eagles before the new coach took over ...I am saying comparing them to the team we watched at the last afcon ...the super eagles and morroco are not far apart

100% correct again.
You are always correct.
When did we get to inspire?
One thing I love about you guys most is how you must always shoot yourselves in the leg in all arguments.
So Madrid and Manutd had never won UCL before waSIU joined them to win it?
If no, you already have your answer from your post on that regard.

The pedigree of Argentina really helped Messi, from U20, to Olympics, to later becoming the player with the highest trophy and highest goal scorer and Assist in South America
If the key to such level of greatness is to just be an Argentine since Kempes and Maradona have done all the job then players like Ortega, Batistuta, Veron, Crespo, Arguero, etc should have the record Messi has.
If the key to become the G.O.A.T is just to be a Barcelona player, then all of the other Barcelona players should have exactly the same record with Messi.
So I ask you, what was responsible for Messi's greatness? If it has nothing to do with being an Argentine and Barcelona player.
You cannot explain greatness, you only accept it.
This year is your year of acceptance including waSiu himself.
You need not to answer, He will answer you all beyond your wildest imagination in this World Cup.

How can you say 'Morocco are a strong team" instead of 'Morocco is a strong team"

Akin to saying 'Nigeria are a strong country" how does it sound to your big head?
Lol

Make I use you laugh before I go finally expose you

You know nothing about Use of English

We are talking about Morocco as a team of players not as a country. Eg. Chelsea are a strong team. Arsenal are Premiership Champions

Come back with another stupid retort that will only expose you the more

Are u finding it hard to comprehend?? Micheal Olise was a brilliant player in Crystal Palace, but when he joined bayern with better players , better management and a big history, the world fell at his feet .... comparing Ronaldos international success with messi only shows u that Ronaldo is indeed the better player ... I never said Messi isnt great , but there are players that did more .... of the great players that are being mention, Messi is the only one that cudnt do it in another club ... Zidane was excellent with juve and Madrid, R9 was excellent with barca and inter , maradona was excellent with barca and napoli ..I'm talking from the 80s when football went global and players started to test their skills with various clubs .... the so called great mess failed in France.... now imagine if he dint play in the greatest barca team of all time, and he was moving around like Ronaldo did, he wudnt even be in the conversation.... u Messi minions always try to look away from that part ... Messi started to struggle when barca started struggling... u guys always wanna overlook the constant disgrace he kept on collecting at barca when iniesta and xavi left.... Messi between 2016 and 2022 when he left Eurooe only scored 4 knock out goals in the champions league .... thats, in 6 years , he scored only 4 knock out goals in the UCL .... it took him 15 yrs b4 he could finally win an international trophy for Argentina , despite Argentina being one of the greatest international teams of all time ... that alone disqualified him in the Goat debate .... took him 5 WCs b4 he could score his first knockout goal despite playing for one of the greatest teams .... Messi has never scored a top team in any competition history from open play .... if not for penalties that he was gifted at the world cup ... and u call him Goat grin grin grin

You guys are the same 😀😀😀
The difference is Messi fans argument are stat oriented but yours are delusional and hate oriented.
Now from your another club syndrome and yardstick of excellence, please use the same for Messi.
You said and I quote "R9 and Zidane are excellent for (inter&Barca), and Juve respectively BUT hope you know that they did not win UCL with them".
So I ask you, was Messi excellent for PSG?

Again you said he only scored 4 goals in UCL knockout so it is a disgrace, hence CR7 is more than a disgrace in the W/C.

Lastly, you keep hammering on country with W/C pedigree. Uruguay have won two W/C before, but in the last 20 years if they had won one more it will be a great surprise because their pedigree have nothing to do with them wining.
As a matter of fact, from this pedigree arguments, it means Xavi and Iniesta are far more greater than CR7 because Spain had never won W/C before 2010 and they did it. I ask you, what made them win it?
You guys never argue holistically, you focus on a spot and magnify it but unknowingly shooting yourselves in the leg.
It is easier to give the glory to CR7 for Portugal's trophies whereas none of those tournament was he even the MVP of the tournament😀😀😀 but they keep calling the one that not only won trophies, but also the MVP, highest goal and assist a failure.
Even nature detest such a hate hence why football always win. W/C b2b loading....

They have strong historical connection to the Yoruba people. so, while they are not Africans, they have one of the strongest Yoruba cultural influences outside Africa. They still worship Yoruba deities there till today. They still use African drum, wear African clothes, even African festivals. Unlike Morocco that claimed they are not Africans in their last world cup outing in Qatar

Is it a coincidence that the countries that have won the world cup have rhe best leagues in the world and have hosted the world cup... Uruguay last won it 76 yrs ago. They are in the same category with Sweden, Hungary that once appeared in the final ... they are just exceptions... spain like France had always been seen as potential winners , just like the Dutch... Portugal isnt even in the discussion...they are totally off ... Argentina is like barca in the champions league, Portugal is like maybe Arsenal or Atletico presently...but were like Everton over the decades ...and Arsenal isn't expected to win UCL ...the odds will always go the the barcas real madrids or bayern Munichs

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Which is harder? To make wealth or sustain wealth?
To start something new or consistently continue what's been started?
To make an unknown team known or consistently maintain the pedigree of a well established team?

Absolute kudos to players that makes an unknown team known at the global stage BUT more kudos to those that must as a matter of necessity and compulsion maintain a champion pedigree.

Compared to Maradona at a young age! The pressure no human on earth has ever faced. Who dares compare anyone to Pele or Maradona before that time.
That pressure is a must succeed no matter what happens kind of pressure. Even when he did his best and team mates couldn't bury chances he created, all blames still goes to him.
Losing penalty in a Copa America final, he couldn't take it again, had to resign from the national team.
Country men burning his jersey!
He could have chosen an easy route before all of those things by just playing for Spain because of the squad quality then and "the supposed team mates that carried him" but yet he chose Argentina.
Even Maradona became a coach at a time, one would think pedigree should have won them W/C because Maradona was the coach and Argentina is the Barcelona of country😂😂 but nothing to show for it.
Maradona later ran away😂😂😂
Surf YouTube of the pressure and abuse Messi suffered in Argentina and see for yourself if any other player has suffered that from their countrymen despite being the best for them at the time.
It is one thing to be criticized by others but if it is from your own people? It can break a man.

If not for higuain, we would not have this conversation because they would have won Germany on that day and y'all wouldn't have mouth to speak but God postponed the surprise so as to be an everlasting silence proudly sponsored by back to back World Cup for Messi and Argentina.
NB: My country, Italy did not qualify again so Argentina all the way.
