prince4pro2:Your inverter has 85V minimum solar PV input. A piece of 620w solar panel ranges from 46v to 50v depending on the brand. 2pieces of such panel may not output the minimum voltage required to start the MPPT charging of the inverter earlier enough, it may during peak sun hours though. You need a least 3pieces as minimum requirement.. Your inverter can even take up to 6000w of solar power. |

signing my presence here, thanks to everyone who has been helping us survive grid. |

xzynwa:With time I will get more pannels. Just looking for something minimum to start up with. I will have to continue sourcing for 3 620w jinko instead of 2 |

prince4pro2:At 85v your inverter is just warming up to charge. However, with just one 630w pv and a fair stand alone cc in a worst scenario will output 450w and your ba3 of 2.5kwh will still get full based on previous depth of discharge but with sense you can still achieve it. Hybrid thrives under standard voltage. Yours should perform better at around 200v that's roughly 4 panels in series. No b by hybrid oo na by your pocket bc this economy is biting really hard. I know of a family who survive charging a 4kwh with just 630w panel. They are surviving well off grid on sumo, mini iron, regular loads etc. They leave home by 8am and returned by 6pm. I repeat, no b by plenty panels on roof but by our conditions, needs and of course -- sense. |

Omo Just get 3. If you get 2, you fit dey get voltage sag prince4pro2: |

If he tries it with 2 panels, on cloudy days his inverter won't charge dollarnaira: |

prince4pro2:Same set-up with 4pcs of 615w panels. Battery charges full around 10am.

Take a look at the manuel. The minimum pv input voltage is 80V This particular inverter MPPT picks up at 80(+-1) so it will charge your bat3 But as advised by others above, 3 panel is ideal prince4pro2: |

bassdow:you’ve had any bad experiences with itel inverter? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by prince4pro2(m): 7:11am On Jun 22 |
micxwell:. Why am yet to see my battery at 27v charge level. I can see your roof is not send down the rain like mine. I go see how to get at least 3 half cut pannels or if possible 4. Na just money matter . |

twinskenny:Love how you reUsed the bolts & Nuts of the roof |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:43am On Jun 22 |
dollarnaira:Those ones only use their setUp very early in the morning and at Night so they can afford to get away with that. Also efficiency of the hybrid inverter / external charge controller, roof type, the enviroment, etc all are variables that can alter realities. A lot of us fail to realize that our needs and requirements often are unique |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:48am On Jun 22 |
fuckboys:NOPE. Hence reason y comment was worded the way it was. Lots of shiny expensive toys out there. Hopefully iTel inverters ain't as good as iTel phones or mayBe they are |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:56am On Jun 22 |
dollarnaira:mayBe @prince4pro2 should tell us their usage patterns. Just like you said, some leave home very early in the morning and come back late at Night. We can't compare their expereince with those who spends more time at home or those with demanding appliances. Or those of us wey get loads that rarely go offLine. Still would recommend 4pcs minimum to cater for most scenerios especially if there's need to use the setUp reliably while it's recharging. if money no too dey, e fit do 3pcs but would suggest He / She kukuma waits till the money for 4pcs is complete as by the time you calculate cost of transportations, and installations of the second panel(s), you see you now spending extra. Not mentioning other costs. He also needs understand He can't easily do Parallel with that inverter |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by micxwell(m): 12:44pm On Jun 22 |
bassdow:I grappled with this for a while too; either to buy 3pcs or 4pcs; make God just provide money for man; If you're talking about using the inverter in parallel with another inverter; NO. Itel 24v inverters do not support parallel connection to another itel 24v inverter. |

Hello guys, I am looking at a system upgrade to higher voltage and higher capacity batteries and would be disposing off 2 units of Deriy 25.6v 2.5kw batteries used in parallel in my existing set up.Batteries were bought last year and are still in good shape. I am open to reasonable offers. Whatsapp- 08052002231 |

[img][/img] bassdow:Boss money no dey oo, na cdcare we just the pay small small. the 3 am getting is for the time being . I go still get another 3 making it 6. So that in case of upgrade in battery capacity I won't be immediately needing pannels again. I have already started payment for 3 620w jinko |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 4:16pm On Jun 22 |
prince4pro2:Kindly ensure your PV cable is at least 6mm to cater for future upgrades so you don't easily outGrow it. No worry, we understand cost of things ain't easy out there. Also must not be Jinko. There are others such as Tongwei and Znshine that are in same league. Haven't patronized cdCare before but I guess their products are good enough. na our gunMent wey don force us turn something wey suppose be Secondary into Primary |

Good evening house, I have a 3kwh lithium battery I intend to use with the hybrid inverter whose product label's image is shown. I'm looking at starting with 4 pieces of 550w panels, what do you advise? What difference would it make if it were 620w panels?
|
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Bruteality1: 1:14am On Jun 23 |
Beframia:Go for 4 pieces of 620 instead |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 10:35am On Jun 23 |
Beframia:if you're yet to buy the solar panels, instead go for 625w solar panels from brands such as ginko, Znshine, Tongwei, Yingli and Yes, it makes a whole lot of difference. Also ensure it's 625w or 620w as it's very easy to be given 580w or 600w or 590w or even lower sef |
