30 Abuja Projects, One Clear Message: Tinubu Is Building for 2027 and Beyond Abuja is witnessing a major infrastructure renewal, with projects spread across roads, transport, public buildings, housing and district development. One major project is the renovation of the Abuja International Conference Centre, restoring one of the capital’s most important event facilities. The Kugbo Bus Terminal is another key project, designed to organise public transport and reduce roadside congestion. The Mabushi Bus Terminal will serve commuters in one of Abuja’s busiest districts and improve passenger safety. The Central Business District Bus Terminal is expected to support movement within the city centre. The Outer Southern Expressway link road is opening up new corridors and easing traffic pressure. The N5 Road in Life Camp is improving access within the growing Life Camp axis. The Airport Road-to-Kuje corridor is strengthening movement between the city, airport axis and satellite towns. The Kuje-Gwagwalada Road is improving connectivity between two important area councils. The Airport Second Runway access road supports future aviation expansion. The Bill Clinton Drive-to-Tunga Madaki bypass will improve local access and reduce isolation. The Gwarinpa-Jahi Interchange is designed to ease traffic between two fast-growing districts. The Wuye Arterial Road is improving internal district movement. The Mabushi access roads, including ILS 11 and MAR 24, are opening up residential and commercial areas. The Dakibiyu Sector Centre B access roads are supporting new urban expansion. The Karsana Renewed Hope Estate access road supports housing development. The Kaura erosion-control project protects roads and communities from flood damage. The Central Area-to-Wuse transit way will improve movement between two major commercial districts. The rehabilitation of Old Keffi Road from Kado to Dei-Dei is vital for daily commuters. The Guzape engineering infrastructure project supports high-value district development. The Asokoro layout infrastructure project strengthens one of Abuja’s prime residential zones. Together, these projects show an Abuja being rebuilt for mobility, investment, housing and modern urban life. |

Goodnessnw:The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway: Why I Believe Tinubu Is Building for 2027 and Beyond Every generation is remembered by the infrastructure it dared to build. The First Republic gave us the Niger Bridge. The military era gave us the Third Mainland Bridge. Today, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has embarked on what may ultimately become one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Nigeria's history—the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway. Critics see a road. Visionaries see an economic corridor. Stretching across Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States, the coastal highway is designed to connect millions of Nigerians, open up tourism, facilitate trade, stimulate industrial clusters and unlock the immense economic potential of Nigeria's coastline. This is not merely a transportation project. It is a nation-building project. Just as the Interstate Highway System transformed America and modern expressways transformed China, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway has the potential to redefine commerce and regional integration in Southern Nigeria. Great nations are not built by leaders who think only about the next election. They are built by leaders willing to invest in the next generation. No project of this magnitude comes without controversy. There will be debates over cost, alignment and execution. That is normal in every country. But history rarely remembers those who opposed transformative projects. It remembers those who had the courage to build them. That is why, when I look at the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, I do not just see concrete and asphalt. I see vision. I see legacy. And I see one more reason why I believe Bola Ahmed Tinubu is building not just for today, but for 2027 and beyond. |

CharlesCNG:Just look at the number of roads done in 3 years and some enemy of progress are still grumbling, if the previous governments have been intentional like the way Tinubu priorities infrastructure, Nigeria by now will be competing with some advanced countries. Just look at bus terminals that is springing up in Lagos and the monorail extensions, the coastal road and the solar street light in all Federal roads, then you will admit that the city boy has taste for excellence |

Not to water down your post but your topic is misleading. There's no connection yet from Apo Wassa to Kuje. Don't give APC propagandists uncooked food. |

Goodnessnw:I did. I repeat; there's no road yet from Apo to Kuje. If you are new to Abuja show the video to someone who knows Abuja and you'll be educated on the roads you videoed. What you videoed was Apo roundabout to Apo Mechanic. You weren't even anywhere close to Wassa. You didn't even get to Waru not to talk of Wassa. Then you videoed Kuje road from the airport interchange and some parts of the road to Gwagwalada from Kuje town. Where did you video Kuje road from Apo? The road doesn't even exist. The person driving you around may have scammed you anyway. |

Ttalk:One of the more underappreciated features of the Tinubu administration is its almost obsessive focus on infrastructure. Consider the Federal Capital Territory alone. Since assuming office as FCT Minister in August 2023, Nyesom Wike has emerged as perhaps the administration's most valuable asset. Under his stewardship, the FCT has witnessed an unprecedented burst of road construction and urban renewal. More than 150 kilometres of roads have been completed or are under construction in the satellite towns alone, with billions invested across the six area councils. By 2025, Wike had commissioned six major roads and unveiled plans to complete at least fourteen critical road projects, while additional projects were launched in Mabushi, Dakibiyu, Wuye, Nyanya, Karu, Gwagwalada, Bwari, Kwali and other districts. And Abuja is only one piece of the picture. Across the country, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway, the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Expressway, monorail extensions, modern bus terminals, solar-powered street lighting and numerous federal roads point to a government that clearly understands the economic importance of infrastructure. Which raises an uncomfortable question for critics. If previous governments had shown similar urgency and intentionality, where might Nigeria be today? Indeed, President Tinubu appears to possess what many politicians lack: a taste for excellence and a belief that infrastructure is not consumption, but investment. And history has shown that roads outlive speeches. Perhaps that is why some people are grumbling. Concrete, unlike propaganda, leaves permanent evidence. |

voortrekker966:Even the Kuje-Gwagwalada road isn't up to 50% complete. I hate that the citizens of this country are willing tools in the hands of politician's propaganda. Why exactly are you lying that an unfinished road is complete? Forget the beautiful road markings at the UniAbuja section of that road. Infact most of the Gwagwalada section is totally untouched coming from Abuja- Lokoja road. |
