Humans can be quite wicked... hopefully the Police will apprehend the culprits. I hope the security man wasn't an accomplice, that will be a great betrayal of the woman on another note.

If only we have good law enforcement system, their dna will be found in that vehicle. Find the evil murderers and kill them on the spot. No arrests or one officer will collect bribe and let him run away.

this is crazy, this level of insecurity is madness. now this case will go unsolved and those who did will go on to commit another crime. Does our Police officers have any other jobs other than to secure Nigeria? cos I don't get it.

Ok o. When I say so, some say I am old fashioned.

All the violence we see now reflect our societal state in general.

Many people are wicked, jealous, hateful, and plain evil.

And they are among us: friends, relatives, neighbours, some respected in religious and social circles.

I believe we need a police state that monitors everyone. All activities should be monitored. It may seem draconian but I believe people have too much freedom to kill, kidnap and do all sorts. When the society has been sanitised, we can renegotiate freedom.

Which data set are you going to match against? We don't have an integrated data base of even ex-convicts so what are we talking here.

Apart from Lagos South Western Nigeria is so unsafe that everyone of them are running to Lagos and claiming Lagos unlike South Eastern Nigeria and South Southern Nigeria that their citizens are proud of their various state

But here in South West every Yoruba man is claiming Lagos due to insecurity and poor development in their various states

The day 40% of our society understands these facts you have written below, that day we would rise again as a country.

At the moment, our people are still jaundiced by political party. The Igbo are still desperately seeking Aso Rock, rather than working tho build a reliable opposition OR to bid their time within the APC by blending into the party, allowing the President to finish his term, have over to the North East or North Central (NE most likely) with an Igbo VP before coming to the South East Presidency in 2039.

There are no sentiments in this political chess game. It is either you build a viable opposition structure across the country or you blend into what currently exists. Note that the South South have 100% APC governors at the moment and would contest that Igbo VP ticket in 2031 if the South East doesn't show firm electoral commitment in 2027.

I want an Igbo President in my lifetime, but it has to be built on trust and huge political investment. The problem with our society is what you've written - not any political party situation - or whoever governs Aso Rock.

You can match the prints against NIN , driver license, voter card or even BVN databases.

That's the image of Chiwetel Ejiofor as Lola in the 2005 film Kinky Boots. He played a drag queen who helps save a shoe factory.

If you want an Igbo president in your lifetime unfortunately that's never gonna happen.
Why?

1. Tribalism taken too far with Igbos, from 2023 elections, results showed that SE voted for their tribal candidate more than any zone.

2. Refusal to be VP before President, that blunder called "Obi or nothing" campaign in ADC exposed the hubris Achebe talked about and will cost Igbos any path to Aso Rock.
Osinbajo was VP as Yoruba before Tinubu emerged as President, GEJ was VP before becoming President.
How igbos hope to teleport from Dickson parlour to Aso Rock is reflective of the saying that Obidients just imagine a scenario in their head and start celebrating.

3. SE will have to beg SS and SW to stand down before they can emerge even as President or VP because SE votes are inconsequential in becoming President in Nigeria.
Buhari used a SE candidate twice and never won, Atiku has used SE candidate twice and never won.
What does that say about SE?

4. Igbos and Obi foolish believe in a Southern turn.
This belief is unconstitutional and has no benefits to the Igbo man.
In the conquest of power, you follow only legality and forget morality cuz politics is a dirty game.
That is how a Mumu ticket used by Tinubu won cuz it's legal but immoral.
As an Igboman who believe in a Southern and Northern turn, South has SW and SS and SE.
SW has had Two Presidents and 1 VP, SS has had 1 President and 1 VP.
Meanwhile SE has not had even a Gateman in Aso Rock and they are the ones shouting the highest that it's Southern turn.
Atiku made it clear in the 2023 PDP Presidential primaries that he would step down only if the Presidency was zoned to the South East specifically and Wike and others refused.
The foolishness of the Igboman is wanting zoning to South meanwhile once in South, the opportunity will never get to him should be studied in Harvard, that's self sabotage and they don't even see it.
SS and SW will clap for SE when it's shouting ZONING because they know when food don land, even bone SE no go see.

5. IPOB disguised as Obedients.
The worst form of deception is self deception.
Their hypocrisy and gullibility can make a blind man see.
Imagine them celebrating Trump who planned to sanction Kwankwaso and then see the 360 they did when a few months later OBI chose Kwankwaso as running mate, same Kwankwaso who called them Andrew Liver salt in 2023, same Kwankwaso in 2023 who said he cannot campaign for an Igboman in the North because of the killing of Ahmadu Bello and their need for Biafra.
Kwankwaso who ran in 2023 when Obidients say it is a Southern turn, ok oo.
Their flipflopping is legendary like a professional hopscotch player.

Let me tell you how bad it is for an Igbo presidency in Nigeria.
Even if APC today with all their national structure decides to zone the Presidency to the South East, I can tell you for free that the internal sabotage within same APC will make what happened to GEJ in 2027 look like toy story.

The Ogun State Police Command has recovered the Lexus RX300 earlier reported missing from the residence of late retired broadcaster, Ms. Kitan Oyesiku, as investigations into her death and that of her security guard gather momentum.

The state Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, on Sunday visited the scene of the incident to assess developments in the ongoing investigation and receive firsthand briefings from detectives handling the case.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the CP inspected the premises and reviewed the progress made so far in efforts to unravel the circumstances surrounding the deaths.

Babaseyi stated that the police commissioner reiterated the command's commitment to ensuring that all those connected with the crime are identified, apprehended and prosecuted.

He disclosed that police operatives recovered the Lexus RX300 during an overnight operation, adding that the vehicle had been secured as an exhibit to aid the investigation.

"The Commissioner of Police has directed that all available resources be deployed to ensure a thorough investigation and the arrest of those responsible for the crime," the police spokesperson said.

Ojajuni also sympathised with the family of the deceased and assured residents of the state that the command remained committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice.

The police command further stated that significant progress had been made in the investigation and promised to keep the public informed of further developments as the case unfolds.
