Solving crime the traditional way It was 2005 or 2006 and I was doing business in Ile Ife back then and had become friends with some police officers at Moore Ile ife that helped me when the RCCG used some people to attack my business There was this particular inspector whose name I can't remember, he told me a story of how staff salary was being paid by cash and a large part of the money remaining to be paid was left in the police station overnight only for it to get missing by the next day. The police leadership was at a loss as to what to do next as the door was properly locked. There were officers in charge but no single person could be held responsible. When there was no way forward, someone suggested to call a Babalawo to solve the matter and the police leadership agreed. An old Babalawo was contacted and he asked where the money was placed and after being shown, he was said to have printed some odu IFA on the area and did other things and the following they found the money on the same spot. The police leadership however dismissed all the officers concerned. My friend, the police officer attested to it that the old methods of fighting crime is more efficient by far than what we do nowadays at police stations and court rooms etc. He said modern methods are far inferior There was another occasion that I personally witnessed around 2005 too. A younger friend's laptop computer was stolen at Mayfair Ile Ife and there were many people living in the house and no particular suspect. He was accustomed to the palace as his Aunt was one of the wives of the late Oba Sijuade. He said to me that the thief thinks he is a dummy that would go to the police to report the theft. He went to an Osanyin priest somewhere near the palace and he was told what to do and how much to pay and he did everything. After a few days, there was a loud noise of something thrown over the fence of the building packed inside a cushioned bag and it was the lap top computer. The person that threw it in made it away before he could be identified I have heard another story witnessed by someone else of someone that stole a bike driving back to return it by himself. Now, can the OPC led by Aare Gani Adams or Iru Ekun led by Chief Sunday Igboho rescue the kidnapped children in Oyo state with such means added with force? The answer is Yes and why is the federal government not using them when they are using the civilian JTF in Maiduguri which is also a civilian militia? Answer is they are playing political correctness with the lives of over 40 innocent people including children. |

It's not good call someone mumu but in your case I'm tempted. Can't you see that in all the instances you narrated FEAR made the person return the item NOT Juju! Can't you see that the easiest thing juju can do is simply say where kidnappers are with their victims. That will be the end of kidnapping. Yet juju can't do something so simple! |

QuinQQ:If the laptop owner had gone to the police, he would never have been able to recover the laptop and for the money returned to where it was in the police station, it can't be explained but the money would never have been recovered without the assistance of the Babalawo. The people that solved the problem were professionals with years if not decades of training |

lawani:Na wa for you o. Isn't it obvious the people who returned the items were afraid what juju might do to them and NOT because juju made them do anything? Have you ever seen where kidnappers returned victims because of babalawo juju?? |

The government do not recognize traditional methods of security as security. If they do, why did the arrest that hunter who released some kidnapped victims and kills the perpetrators?. And why won't the government play politics with the lives of the people, when the same people are already divided among themselves. These people knows what they are doing, it's just so funny that the citizens are busy fighting themselves. Even the people of that region where the school kids were kidnapped, didn't even do anything, they took it as normal thing and thats why it will keep happening and they will keep taking it as normal thing, but mention obi's matter and see massive erection from them. |

QuinQQ:They get results and they get it consistently and that is all that matters. If you have any such problem, go to them but make sure they are not quacks and you will get a better result than what the police can deliver |

QuinQQ:In rescuing people, hunters, OPC, Sunday Igboho etc have been more successful than the police. These people have entered the forests and arrested people with AK-47 assault rifles. I tell you their methods are more efficient than the methods of the police |
