[quote author=Image123 post=139799929]A reminder to those that forget that after God, it's government. Avoid irrational chestbeatings and tantrums. Don't let government have your time, you're not anonymous. Be responsible and patriotic in all your decisions. Peace. [ VDM should listen to this golden advice] |

El-Rufai is scripted to remain in detention until Emilokan secures another term. This is without prejudice to El-Rufai's high-handedness and security breach. |

ekukeku:Some of you talking are very Funny, Indeed 🤣. It is Our unseriousness in almost All things in Nigeria that brought us down ,as a Country, with Many Politicians remains aloof to Accountability In GOVT. El-Rufai should know that he has Committed Serious Offense Against A State- as the Tapping of Security Chief Phone 📱 🤳- is a Crime Against the State, but many here always thinks is Political ! •Can El-Rufai do that in Egypt - where he claimed is Coming back and the Soldier - President - Sisi will lock him in Prison for life 🧬. •Can he do that in China- where Maximum Penalty is a gonner ! • Can he even try It in USA and Other Western Countries -without a Serious repercussions- for stating the Obvious On Television 📺? •What was his Intentions and who Did he passed those Information to ? -Is this not a Willful Intention to Destabilize the Government ? The same man was a Governor of Kaduna State and during his Tenure - for 8- years, the State was in Orgy Of Violence, especially the Southern Kaduna Christians,as Fulani-herdsmen were having a field day ! No one is above the Law of Nigeria and anyone who is trying to undermine the Govt-the Federal, the States and Local Govts Should Face the Law. |

ekukeku:Tinubu will NOT allow Elrufai coordinate the north to determine who the North will support in 2031. Tinubu's goal is to ensure that Elrufai cannot manipulate the northerner that will rule between 20231 and 2039. If Elrufai will be released, na till around 2030. The will make him comfortable in detention and bug the communication of anyone that visits him. |

He will probably be convicted but if you know nigeria's history very well he wont be going to jail. They will most likely sentence him with an option of fine which he will conviniently pay, thats even if the case is not thrown out on technicality. Big men (politicians) dont go to jail in Nigeria. |

ryloy:Elrufai is regretting all these now. He wished he saw the future. The reaction he thought all this will generate especially from Northerners didn't go as planned. He thought he was the next popular person or who the main man that took over from buhari, but he was disappointed. Not even a protest, even other northern politicians don't even discuss about it. He felt the streets would be burning now. He will never forget the day he stepped foot inside Arise TV Studio.. he is on a Long thing... |

"TAPPING PHONE CONVERSATIONS" IF THE MIDGET WAS WISE, THIS IS HIS PRIVATE PERSONAL SECRET BUT PRIDE BLIND FOLDED HIS CONSCIENCE. I LEAST EXPECTED ELRUFA'I TO HAVE BEEN ERODED SO SOON. EVEN THOUGH HE'S ONE OF THE YOUNG NORTHERN POLITICIANS LATE BABA BUHARI TRUSTED BUT THEY GANG UP TO BETRAYED THE OLD MAN AND THE NORTH IN PARTICULAR. NOW THEY ARE FALLING PREY TO THEIR POLITICAL ENEMIES ONE AFTER ANOTHER. |

This is akin to my people saying that it's the chicken that raised its leg when the owner wanted to tie it. El Rufai committed a gaffe by saying that stuff on air. |

Safyqueen:Terror sympathizer, compare the days of the butcher of kd as governor to Gov Ubah Sani on killing of southern Kaduna people, be ashamed of yourself, is Benue state a Muslim state,? Talking of plateau, who are those responsible for the killings going on there, aren't they the jihadists? Peace die where you people comes, it's historical. Kkpaing people in the name of ala, pathetic. If he isn't a dmon, what gave him tthe thought m.U.m.u tickets, a state where they have been sharing joints ticket for ages, religious fanatism have no place in modern Nigeria. |

jmoore:An individual's testimony—including a verbal or written confession—can be used against them in court without physical evidence. In both civil and common law jurisdictions, a voluntary confession made by a defendant is considered highly potent evidence. For testimonial evidence to lead to a conviction, however, it usually must meet a few specific legal conditions: 1. Voluntariness: The confession must be made freely, without threats, coercion, or improper inducements (like promises of leniency). Statements given under duress are typically inadmissible. The man ran his mouth on national TV of his own volition 2. Witness Credibility: In cases relying purely on eyewitnesses or unrecorded verbal statements, the judge or jury must find the witness exceptionally credible. The alternative here is to label El-Rufai a liar - he would need to publicly admit he lied at the very least - he hasn't. 3. Procedural Safeguards: Authorities usually must follow standard procedures (such as administering a legal caution or informing the individual of their right to remain silent and to have an attorney). If these rights are violated, the testimony may be thrown out. He did it of his own volition. 4. Corroboration: In many jurisdictions, a court may require some level of circumstantial or foundational proof that a crime actually took place. Hopefully, the government can provide corroborating proof, but this is not a compulsory factor. |

Image123:Did you say sane, what is SANE about Tinubu govt, el rufai stapled detention or the keen interest of govt to silence opposition with security forces nd judiciary Yoi dare mention " Sane" for a govt that believes bandits/terrorist are prodigal sons that need rehabilitation nd re integration but protesters/critics should be in prison NO way, you can manipulate to us to be docile out of fear, Tinubu was once a critic, he criticized military nd every president we had even Buhari was spared such a man can not be president today, nd you teach patriotism is to take bvllshit from govt and keep mute cos Tinubu has power, will he rule forever, no be 4,yrs don complete, put all of us in prison naw You even have the mouth ti tell me i am not anonymous But everyday bandits run there crimes and hide ... Govt feign helpless they are anonymous bandits post on tik tok we can't find them, buh a harmless citizen criticize govt from ogbomoso Dss fishhim out ... thats the got you support ma worry the Nigeria you are happy about now we happen to your loved ones lagbara olohun |

Tenses:It is not what changed but what is different in this case... the difference is that the person Sowore is quoting Reno had since denied that allegations of criminal against the president after his own investigation and apologused to the president before Sowore repeated that allegation as a matter of fact that he can prove so saying he quoted Reno Omokri doesn't hold water when at the time he stated it he didn't say; "Reno Omokri said the president is a criminal" which is a quote but instead he said it according to himself. I say all these thinking that I'm talking to a resonable person not an obident hypocrite ![]() Elrufia thinks he is above the law and can say whatever he wants without repercussion as he had done many times even threatening election observers with death openly and Buhari did nothing to him, he stated publicly to have paid billions to bandits and terrorists without accountability, he was invited to clear his side of a corruption investigation but he refused to honor the invitations....well he and his "he is our leader so he must go home" have got to know that nobody is above the law. |
