Meanwhile its already occuppied.

To whom it may concern... If you're young and you've tried white collar jobs, you've not seen it.. comot pride and engage in menial job.. it could be cleaner, security etc.

When you receive the salary, no body go ask how you take get the money.
Wether nah money from plumbing work, money from lawma work, security work, or salary from cleaner work.. all nah money. People go still collect the money and render service to you.

If you like dey reason wetin people go talk.. hunger go finish you then turn you to beggar.

Not only bad it's a very horrible.

Because I is illegal and against Labour law to recruit without advertising. Companies have to account for their legal recruitment during audit. So they advertise to cover up.

Moreover, ever since Sanusi Lamindo Sanusi massively recruited Unqualified Fulanis into CBN without consequences, No federal ministry, University or parastatal is bothering with advertising any position. They do not bother about the breaking the labour law as no one holds them accountable.


We need a law that makes govt. Officials personally liable for breaking obvious laws.

Ghost jobs may be advertised for fraudulent purposes.

Advertising non-existing vacancies is a violation of consumer protection practices in the UK.

it is also illegal to charge job seekers a fee to find work there.

My humble opinion is there must be continued and deliberate action to teach people how to scale businesses.

What's the use having 100 small tiny tailors when you can have one behemoth, churning out designs and branding capable of making waves.

100 tiny wielders, not 1 single tangible machine fabricated that takes the skill of the hundred

100 korope drivers, not one single brand that emphasizes safety, cleanliness, timeliness and comfort

Without of thinking big, we're doomed to this sea of unemployed and unemployable youth

We have a NELFUND thanks to this administration

We can have YouWin type fund that allows for scaling business ideas into tangible and sustainable businesses

Not giving people grants to set up useless backyard bakery or stupid pure water factory.

Just to fulfill the requirement of the law.

As a recruiter I can agree with you you get 200 applications within the first day. You only need to shortlist a maximum of 10 for the process. Once you get that within 24 hours that's it. All others become part of future database That is why you can get a call from a recruiter even years later for a role you did not apply for

Job postings is a form of marketing, it create a brand awareness, and they also use it to understudy current market dynamics.
It's just like people also attending interviews when they don't even plan to change jobs.

It's just for self development, to be sure he is still in tune with market demands.
You know you might be complacent with a company probably because of pay, position or perks and not know that you don't have relevant skills again, when you attend interviews, the recruiter is likely to open your eyes more to things currently trending from the questions asked

REFERRALS will land you jobs thousands of people have applied for and many are currently been actively interviewed, but you have to know the right people first.
In Nigeria of today, you might want to forget about getting a good job without the right connection, worse if the job is just a regular position that many hands are available to fill.

I have worked in 5 places in the last decade and a half and each job except one has been from a job board. This is minus other jobs I got and did not take or which I interviewed for and did not make the final cut
