Whatever throws over 80% of the country into serious hardship is ill-timed, especially when there were no prior measures to make it smooth.

A pregnant woman, Shema'u Sani Labaran and her baby died because her husband could not get new notes and there was no POS around. She died in Kano. The news is online.

Families went hungry for days because they could not get cash.

Even the government acknowledged it was ill-timed that's why they removed the earlier deadline till date. We're still using the old and new notes together.

Whether APC politicians or not, the fact is that the Internet infrastructure and physical equipment was simply not enough to sustain that sudden switch. It was ill-timed.

Irony1:
That is a lie, the policy was never ill timed it was the best time for it. It is actions of APC politicians who were against it that created the hardship.
Is it not strange that they want to revisit the same policy at exactly the same election period. Let us shun hypocrisy and lies.

It was politicians that made the redesign to cause hardship by inciting people to make a run on banks they created the atmosphere of panic. You people should be sincere with yourselves and stop lying.

The same policy they maligned, crucified and demonized Emefiele for is now the very policy they are considering reintroducing

Thunder ⚡🔥⚡🔥⚡ them all
And who on earth told them that cash can’t be traced? Who told them that motorcycles, bags of rice and etc can’t be traced? If na to thief money ,politicians would have all the answers but to proffer and implement simple solutions to issues bordering on the wellbeing of people dem no fit.
Re: FG Mulls Reintroducing Cashless Policy To Tackle Kidnappings by zeyt: 12:32am On Jun 24
last time it was introduced there was lack of sincerity on part of goverment. It was meant to cripple Tunibu political ambition becauce Buhari recieved intel that Tunibu has warehouse full of cash. Naira redesign was initated. That was there was sabbotage from banks and network service providers. I was stopped and apology was issued. Buhari was really a weak leader. We could have gone along was in curtailing kidnapping and banditry.
