Actually there is nobody without luck. You can't go through life without your own share of luck but you can't convert something that you can't even recognize. Therefore no matter how lucky you are, you still have to be able to recognize opportunities and be able to convert them. Not everyone can do that on the same scale Almost no lottery winner ever built wealth from the win and they had the luck You need plans and focus as well as honesty for good success and those are the determining factors. The first money you come across, you are going to waste it according to the Yoruba saying owo ti omode ba koko ri akara loma Fi je. The first money made by a child will be spent on frivolities and then the child will mature, start saving and investing to become financially secure. It is always a long term project and no long term project can be said to be determined by luck. |

Dpsychologist:It is not luck but grace. Eccl 9:11: "I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happens to them all." Grace is having the right qualities and being in the right places and crossing path with your helpers at the best possible time in your life. |

The role of luck is often underemphasized. Luck can make you rich but luck alone cannot keep you rich. While staying rich requires so many factors, but without any atom of luck, all your efforts and consistency is a waste |

buygala:Sometimes life is not about how many years you lived on earth but how many years you lived quality life on earth. Herbert Wigwe lived a fulfilled life more than millions if not billions of other humans on earth and died above 70yrs. Meanwhile, there is what is called destiny; your destiny determines a lot of the things that would happen to you in your lifetime on earth. Your destiny is very powerful; it plays a strong or key role in how rich or poor you will become, how long you will live on earth, yes it does. Longevity have a lot to do with your gene, your lineage, your destiny. Make of my comment whatever you chose to, have a peaceful day or night wherever you may be ![]() |

QuinQQ:Why were you not able to build an App or forum like Seun's Nairaland? Do you think it's by being smarter than others that made Seun to build Nairaland and it succeeded for these years? Ask Seun, a lot of others probably built websites or forums when he also built Nairaland or even before he did and theirs couldn't get to limelight. That you were born with a better intellectual ability or thinking faculty or creative ability or mindset more than your mates is not by your making but your destiny because you were born with it which is also luck. 10 innocent kids will be put in a classroom and taught that 10 + 5 + 15 is equal to 30 and the teacher will clean the answer and ask the kids in the same class that who knows the answer to 10 + 5 + 15 and most of the kids will not be able to remember and probably one of the kids raises up his hand and answers it correctly, do you think it's by his making that he was able to remember it? It's a gift, it's by destiny, luck that he did because the other kids must have also cracked their brains and their brain couldn't come up with the answer simply because they are not born with same mental capacity. That is where it starts from... Same way some people are born with higher IQ and mental capacity and creative mind, the same way some people are luckier with life opportunities in whatever they do to survive or to make money, don't dispute that just because you can't comprehend how okay? |

franchasng:You are a Christian and that is the problem. You can have creative ability because of past incarnations and more often than not it is because of that. Would you classify such creative ability gotten from past incarnations as luck? That would be like classifying ability gotten as a result of decades of experience as luck. As Christians, you are saved by grace or sheer luck |

Mrfeel:Being prepared is one thing. Being prepared and meeting an opportunity is anothing affair altogether. When people meet opportunities and lose it, it's either they were not prepared or never recognised it as opportunity. |

He can be super hardworking and strategic and still not make it to this level, There are many people more brilliant than him who are not on his level of success. |

Mariangeles:You are absolutely correct, what a powerful teaching and it resonates with what I counsel someone few days ago, whenever he shares Testimonies of what God is doing and has done in his life, those who are in the same line of Ministry with him who despite been Sons and daughters of the land with lots of support systems available to them but are still failures in their Country, gets offended or respond to the guys testimony with Lukewarmness / Coldness or team remain silent or display subtle fake anger or fake smile to These guy's testimony and l cautioned him to Stop sharing his Testimonies to those set of people, Envy and Jealousy are real and they are Twin evils Thanks for sharing this video clip with me, l watched it and it was a DIVINE confirmation of what I told the Guy few days ago. ![]() |
