I have said this on several occasions the Fed govt should make wearing camouflag, buying camouflag, importing camouflag a serious offense if you are not a millitary personnel. Intercepting these stuff not enough but arresting the criminal and keep him or them in prison for a very long will stop these nonsense. |

Can't they shut up and finish the investigation first? Now they have alerted the criminals to take cover. |

Nigeria security is still living in stone age. U are still investigating...so why come out to d press? That means ur investigation will not be successful. U should have silently arrested those carrying it, seize their phones, make sure the news don't leak out to d public then u tactically use those u arrested to get information on d remaining people. Now those people already know that u have arrested their errand boys. What do u expect them to do? |

'There is fire on the mountain and no one seems to be running...' it seems some evil men are planning evil upon this nation, they authorities must sit up and apply the kind of efforts they are putting towards 2027 elections to fighting insecurity and nipping it in the bud....this seems like some rebels, terrorists etc are upto no good. Certainly these are not the best of times for our country and Nigerians must rise up to the occasion. |

I don't like the way police are handling sensitive operations. Certainly the got a tips on this information and I expect they to have play along. They could have send an under cover to follow the vehicle moving the goods without them noticing any, this is where intelligent comes in. We can not continue doing same thing and expect a positive results. Even when they stop the vehicle, nothing stop them from planting a device into the vehicle why acting like they are searching for other things. There by it will be easy to monitor them and give other operative the direction, location of the vehicle in each particular time till it gets to the destination Sorry what do I even know say😏🤔 naptu2: |

It high time military camouflages should be flagged as dangerous goods so that only the appropraite authority can import. Furthermore, I thought our military uniforms are home made - our military should be involved in manufacturing of there wears, they can enable Aba businesses instead of importing. If this was caught by the Police, imagine how many passed through the Customs. The folks in Custom need to know that there are sponsoring terrorism in Nigeria by allowing such goods into the country without proper clearance. Other imports, the Custom and DSS folks will be on alert to collect clearance fees, even delay delivery of the goods for months. But things such as camouflage are allowed with easy. |

I don’t understand? Is it that custom is only after revenue paid to them and never bother to inspect the container that brought this in? What negligence and corruption will cause us in this country ehn! Because it’s custom that should have discovered this if they are actually serious , their job should be more of security rather than generating revenue, if nah 3 iPhones they would discover it no matter how you conceal it ,how can several bags of military gears passed just like that, just imagine how many has passed freely |

Wadoboy:This is the reason why I dont complain whenever I see the police stop a vehicle to conduct stop and search ops. Without such random search, this kind of discovery wouldn't have been possible. It honestly pains me when I see people giving the police a bad vibe/energy for conducting stop and search op. The truth is, with our current insecurity reality, such stop and search is a necessity. I only plead with the Nigerian Police Force to apply decorum as well as human dignity in the discharge of their duty and do their work with diligence. May God continue to protect our armed forces and security agents. |
