If Messi should have scored Germany in those times, I would still have counted it as nonsense. Why will Messi be capitalising on the weaknesses of the falling giants to score goals and then count it as superb. Messi won't even stoop so low. He likes to deliver it when they are hot. He scored France in Final, two goals, Netherlands in Q/F, Croatia in Q/F. Check out those stats. He even did more goals in the knockout stages than in first round, unlike your football goat with no single goal in any knockout stages and with people in 100, 60, etc in FIFA ranking.
