Digital gamers:

Let’s be honest though…
Digital downloads are convenient. No discs to swap, no scratched media, and you can buy a game at 2 a.m. without leaving your bed.

But physical games gave us something digital never could:
💿 A collection you could proudly display.
🤝 The ability to lend or resell your games.
📦 That satisfying feeling of opening a brand-new case.

An era that started with the original PlayStation in 1994 is slowly coming to a close.

Whether you love it or hate it, 2028 is going to change PlayStation forever.

in all truth, I really hope they overturn this decision as it doesn’t make sense at all, so what will happen to all the people that bought the standard PlayStation 5 slim or fat, the customers that had the worst are those that bought an additional CD drive To the PlayStation 5 pro, make them go chop Eba abi? So they mean say na people wey buy digital-only consoles wise pass abi?

Sony is just super greedy I promise. They want to destroy the used 💿 market and begin selling older games at full price instead of a discounted price due to its age. This is a huge problem for gamers on a budget.

Also this removes the ability to share your game 💿 after you’re done with it to friends, family. Sony wants you to buy it on two separate consoles making double gain at full price, it’s not fair honestly.

This is a move worth protesting against, Sony really aims to destroy the future of gaming by making it all digital, if you can afford buying games at full prices all year long, think about those who can’t, think about those who wait a year or two after the game releases so they can buy it at a discounted rate. If Sony destroys they used Game market, a year or two after a game releases, they will still sell at full price because they are that greedy.

All these video game companies increased prices of their consoles, claiming it’s due to the global chip shortage caused by AI data centers, we did not complain, We still kept supporting them. So now this is the “thank you” right? We no go gree
