Uzbekistan should not be out yet. They can still jump into third place if they beat Congo.
3 pints is likely not enough to make it out of group stage as a best 3rd position in the group
Re: Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Thread by Mirasteel: 3:47pm On Jun 24
I wanted Senegal to qualify but unfortunately they didn't, they are in the hardest group with France and Norway.

I would have wanted US to play IRAN in the round of 16, that will be a very tough match.

1. Mexico
2. United States
3. Germany
4. France
5. Norway
6. Argentina
7. Colombia
These seven nations have booked their places in the knockout stage with a game to spare.

KUDOS TO THE AFRICAN TEAMS

-Morocco are well placed in Group C.

-Ivory Coast remain second in Group E.

-Egypt currently lead Group G.

-Cape Verde are still in the hunt in Group H.

-Ghana are second in Group L.

-Algeria still have a chance in Group J.

Despite South Africa, Tunisia and Senegal facing difficult situations, African teams have shown plenty of fight and are still well represented heading into the final group matches.

Which team has impressed you the most so far, and who do you think is heading home after the final group stage games?
Not good enough from African teams especially from the heavy weights like Senegal, Algeria and South Africa

South Africans should quickly go back home and protect their jobs being taken by foreigners.
You mean Banana Banana should go "BECK" home.

Those people go like Beck's beer well well. grin cheesy

While they sip beer and umqombothi, foreigners dey make money.

Then they want to shoot well-to-do foreigners like they shot Lucky Dube thinking he was a Nigerian.

Or turn into emergency immigration officers.

They will qualify if they can play either a draw or a win in their last match. They can qualify with 1 point.

How can the whole Africa teams move to the next round when Tunisia has gone home already?

Bafana Bafana Are Through! South Africa Qualify For World Cup Round Of 32!

South Africa have qualified for the FIFA World Cup knockout stage for the first time in their history after a hard fought 1-0 victory over South Korea.

A 63rd minute strike from Maseko was enough to secure all three points and book Bafana Bafana's place in the Round of 32.

What a turnaround!

After losing their opening match and finishing with nine men, many had already written South Africa off. But they responded like true fighters and are now through to the next round.

This is a massive moment for South African football and one that their fans will remember for a long time.

AFRICA'S REPRESENTATIVES IN THE ROUND OF 32 SO FAR
1. Morocco
2. South Africa

More African nations could still join them as the final group stage matches are played.

Can South Africa go even further, or is the Round of 32 where their journey ends?

Congratulations, Bafana Bafana!

I don't see them going past Canada on Sunday

First KO for both teams but Canada with home advantage should move to R16

SA have tried...they can go back to their jobs on Monday
