-Algeria still have a chance in Group J.

Despite South Africa, Tunisia and Senegal facing difficult situations, African teams have shown plenty of fight and are still well represented heading into the final group matches.

Not good enough from African teams especially from the heavy weights like Senegal, Algeria and South Africa

South Africa have qualified for the FIFA World Cup knockout stage for the first time in their history after a hard fought 1-0 victory over South Korea.

A 63rd minute strike from Maseko was enough to secure all three points and book Bafana Bafana's place in the Round of 32.

What a turnaround!

After losing their opening match and finishing with nine men, many had already written South Africa off. But they responded like true fighters and are now through to the next round.

This is a massive moment for South African football and one that their fans will remember for a long time.
