depends on if they maintain it, now that they’re a broker for the Dangote refinery IPO, I hope their attention doesn’t leave fund management

CS has the highest loss protection from my observation. CS will shield your losses to the best of their ability except its a really really red day. Zedcrest also tries in this regard but not like CS.

Paramount’s losses can be aggressive and they started acting funny some months back when they nolonger update same day.

You should have considered moving your funds from GT Equity to any MMF. Taking a 15% penalty on net profit for early withdrawal would have been better than losing over 20% while the investment continues to decline. At least MMF would have provided an opportunity for your money to grow.

CS also pays during the weekend. I think NGX is now in the bearish market; things will definitely get back on track. We only lose when we sell.

We all know election in this country comes with negative news, some stocks may bleed to their 2023 prices by the time elections are over.

Spot on

The market is hovering around 235k which is the black dash. The next support level is probably 225k which is the blue line below the black dash. This means it’s still falling. If it finds support at 225, then good news, otherwise the next support may be sub 200.

How do i know its still falling? The red and green bar charts at the bottom tells the story of the ongoing war between sellers and buyers . The buyers (green) are trying to defend the ASI but they are currently outnumbered by the sellers (reds).

That’s why it’s always said, before you buy the dip, have an idea of what the next support zone may be or else we use your capital to defend the ASI grin

. It’s a noble gesture anyway

The good news is, there’s low volume, hence the dwarf bars. This tells another story which is that what’s happening is purely correction and not panic sell off. If the bars were taller, i’d have said run for your life grin

Inflation is affecting the US market; Apple just hiked its products, and the market started wobbling up and down. However, tech stocks will still see green tonight. One of my portfolios is about to return a 4m paper profit.

Investors are buying, selling, and taking profit due to inflation. Some don't want to hold for the long term.

I quite agree

My red days were bearable with Cardinal stone but with Zedcrest and
Paramount they were huge. Paramount is worse with their magic.

I quickly ported and have been stuck with Cardinalstone ever since.

There's something they're doing right.
Equity is great with Cardinalstone.

Equity is great with Cardinalstone.

That's because, CS doesn't invest 100% fund into Equity, they also hold some high yield old bond but not heavy on it, that's why you get that peanut payment during the weekend.

Newton's First Law of Motion – an object remains at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force. (uninvested money)

Newton's Second Law of Motion – F = ma (force equals mass × acceleration). (Huge money invested equals huge returns)

Newton's Third Law of Motion – for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. (When the stock market goes up, it comes down to correct, regardless it was invested in CSFO)

Lastly, Albert Einstein said something about compound interest being the 8th wonder of the world. Yeah right, so when you wait, it will compound.

May our portfolio turns out to be like dead people portfolio. Amen

Do not move; I recommend doing a little bit of DCA. June has always been the worst month for equity, both at home and abroad. Nevertheless, the decision is in your hand.
