Progress Update on the Calabar Section of Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway
Re: Progress Update On The Calabar Section Of Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway by ryloy(op): 4:52pm On Jun 25
These are all roads currently been done by this Tinubu administration, not all the roads are new some of these roads seen here on the map are pre-existing roads that are been rehabilitated into concrete roads, so what he's saying is valid but that doesn’t mean new roads like Lagos-calabar are waste of money.

Why didn't Tinubu use the money for this project to improve power supply at least? Nigerians never complained of lack of access roads connecting Calabar and Lagos and he decided to sink billions into this unimportant project. Tinubu left the problems that Nigerians complain about to solve the one that Nigerians didn't complain about. Tinubu hasn't even solved at least one major problem facing Nigeria.

They are waste. Hear me out.
This government has refused to invest in human development. No jobs, economic hardship. That's why people keep vandalizing parts installed on that road.

Bro, people are dying like chicken now.
Poor healthcare, expensive medicines, food.
People just download carbs like no tomorrow.
So yes, the roads are waste. This government should have used the first term to invest in human development, make men shed from the nonsense buhari did.
Then they can now work on roads in second term.
People are dying like chickens now and it's scary

Governance is not a road doing competition. Your argument is like implyinh that a soup is rated by the quantity of salt alone. Soup is rated by the balancing of all ingredients.
Re: Progress Update On The Calabar Section Of Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway by malali: 5:15pm On Jun 25
Lower fuel prices matter because everything else depends on them.

A country can have roads, but without affordable fuel those roads don’t move people, goods, or opportunity , they just sit there like expensive concrete.

When fuel costs spike, transport, food, and manufacturing all get squeezed at once. That pain doesn’t stay abstract; it shows up in market prices, logistics costs, and everyday survival.

So the real question isn’t just about production or supply chains, it’s whether efficiency gains and domestic advantages are actually passed through to consumers. Because infrastructure without mobility is just potential energy, not real progress.

If roads are the arteries, fuel is the blood. When it’s too expensive to flow, the whole system slows down.

Very poor reporting,is this a road project or a music video......no details nothing,I got tired by the 3rd minute......go learn about engineering or construction reportage, details of the work done, how many kms, what location are they and what yardstick to measure their progress......you are very poor at this and you really need to get better.

PBAT till 31!!
