CENTCOM is entering direct talks with the IRGC in Qatar in a rare military-to-military channel that bypasses usual State Department or CIA mediation.

In a stunning turn of events, US Vice President JD Vance told the media outlet Unherd on Thursday that CENTCOM officials will meet with Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) officials in Doha, Qatar, to resolve conflicts between the sides.

"One of the things we wanted to come out with,” he tells me, was a “channel on the Iranian side” for reducing conflict.


Which we did. They were like, ‘OK, fine, we’ll send somebody from the IRGC to go hang out in Doha with somebody from CENTCOM,’ and that’s how we’re going to settle a lot of these disputes,” Vance told Unherd.

This is a major geopolitical twist, direct talks between CENTCOM and the IRGC could completely shift regional dynamics

Just few days ago, this same JD Vance travelled all the way to Switzerland for talks with Iran, but he got snubbed because of Donald trump disrespectful utterances towards Iran, I can see a lot of desperation on the part of America

The message here is clear, america is ready to sacrifice the so-called security of Israel just to make a deal with Iran.

Of course Iran is a finished country, but IRGC is also a suicidal lot that don't care if they die - infact WANT to die to get their 72 virgins!
But this is good move because IRGC is the true leader of Iran - agreement with anyone else is a waste of time!

I think pro-IRGC supporters are the ones getting their knickers in a twist. Before and during the war, Trump had always said that the IRGC must come to the negotiating table.
They swore that it would never happen, but today?!
