Goodmorning Everyone

Just a gentle reminder to never give up hope🙏🏾

The update I got last week is that IRCC has started doing eligibility check before biometrics. So what they are doing now is to check ur profile immediately after your AOR. Then once they send u BIL and immediately after you’ve done it, it won’t take 2-3days before you get the RFV mail.

Infact someone got RFV immediately after doing his biometrics on Friday last week. That’s not the first person though.

So let’s be hopeful 🙏🏾
I'm not so sure about that although I did see a guy's timeline on Reddit that got FD 2 days after biometric, that's not how it turned out for me though. It's been weeks since the biometric.

Goodluck to everyone though.

I am currently in a March AOR group, and it happened to someone there. He even shared screenshots of the mail he received (i.e., the RFV mail). We were all aware of his biometrics the same day he received the RFV. He was not the only one it happened to. So at the end of the day, it's all by the Grace of God

I meant no disrespect neither am I saying it's a lie what I am saying is that if it is happening it is atypical and nearly all applications still adhere to the "normal" timeline. I do hope people of this thread get their request expeditiously I hope I do too. Shalom!

You can create an Express Entry profile now since you already have your ECA and IELTS, but your French scores (CE and EE) may not yet meet the minimum CLB 7 required for the French‑speaking category. Retaking the TCF is a smart move, stronger French results will boost your CRS and make you eligible for French‑speaking draws.

That said, don’t limit yourself to Federal draws alone. Depending on your NOC and work experience, you may actually have stronger chances through provincial programs like BC PNP (which prioritizes certain occupations), or employer‑driven pathways such as the Atlantic Immigration Program. Exploring those alongside your French retake can give you a clearer picture of where your profile fits best.

Hello, could you kindly direct me to where I can get further knowledge on the provincial programs. I read on it a while back but I really didn't understand much or even get much value from what I was seeing. Thank you.

Hello,

That's actually a common experience.

Many people start reading about Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) and quickly become confused because there isn't just one program. Each province operates multiple streams, each with its own eligibility requirements, occupation priorities, and selection criteria.

My recommendation would be to start with the fundamentals rather than trying to understand every provincial stream at once.

Focus on these questions:

• What is your occupation?
• How many years of experience do you have?
• What is your highest educational qualification?
• Have you taken an English or French language test?

Once you understand how those factors affect immigration eligibility, the provincial programs become easier to interpret.

One mistake many applicants make is reading provincial websites without first understanding the basics of Express Entry, NOC classifications, TEER categories, and provincial nomination systems. Without that foundation, the information can feel overwhelming.

A practical approach would be:

1. Learn how Express Entry works.
2. Understand your NOC occupation classification.
3. Review provinces that regularly invite people in your occupation.
4. Study only the streams relevant to your profile.

Trying to learn all provincial programs at once is like trying to read an entire university curriculum before deciding on a course of study.

Start with the fundamentals and narrow your focus based on your background.

I hope this helps.

I'm quite happy that the person you quoted did not include details or screenshot of his personal website an improvement over previous conduct, this information need not cost you a dime.

I typically recommend that you begin reading this page from part 1, you might find the information you're looking for however dated it'd retain its relevance

In the absence of time and patience, avail yourself the wonders of widely available GPT models. I recommend Gemini(AI model) Flash. Use this prompt

"In a easy to understand way for someone not deeply knowledgeable about the process. Explain the Canada provincial nominee program (Express Entry and Non Express Entry)"

What was explained to you is evasive and betrays a rudimentary knowledge of the process and of debatable utility.

No one would however do this job for you start with that prompt, there are also fairly exhaustive videos on YouTube dealing with this explained in fairly plain language.

After watching the videos, reading up and gaining some rudimentary knowledge about the process of you ask targeted questions I'm sure someone would be glad to answer you without any financial inducement but at this stage your question is overly broad.

If your goal is to claim "Two or more certificates" don't use WES for this evaluation I believe it has been addressed at some point on this thread. Because it is issued by the Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) of the University they evaluate it as a non-university professional certificate or even outrightly reject it.

Use ICES (International Credential Evaluation Service or CES instead they evaluate as one year undergraduate. Goodluck

Its now called JUPEB. If you can persuade Unilag to issue the Jupeb certificate of completion to you yes wes may evaluate it. Unfortunately, i dont think jupeb certificate will be issued because they expect you to move to year 2 undergraduate study after jupeb completion.

Hello guys
I need help
So I’m coming to Lagos for my medical and I also scheduled my police clearance certificate there.
I just thought of something and got scared. I live in Enugu. Will getting a police clearance certificate in Lagos affect me? I didn’t think it through so now my PCC will come from Lagos
Will it affect me since I stay in Enugu?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by eniola1010(m): 8:40pm On Jun 26
I know that if you are unmarried and you later marry after aor score wont be recalculated.

But what i want to know is this.

If i am married. And i put my spouse as unaccompany. And later add the spouse after aor. Will there be any repercussions?

See how time flies

Back in days, the thread would have been lively on day like this that a draw was announced, I'm shock to see how dry the thread is today.

Good morning everyone
Please, I have a question.
During NYSC, I received the monthly NYSC stipend from the government, while my PPA also paid me in cash. Can I use both the NYSC payment records and a cash salary certificate from my PPA confirming my work experience?

grin Lols, yes 475 was the CRS score of the lowest-ranked candidate invited in the most recent Invitation Round on June 25, 2026.
Wonder what was obtainable back in the day.
Seems now the most realistic entry point for the average joe is through PNP (+ 600 points) with a job offer.

Hello house,

Please my wife is a pharmacist that just finished her NYSc. We both wrote Ielts and are set to join the pool. The challenge is how to present her 3 year work history with salary evidence.

Year 1 - Locum Pharmacist - Paid in cash
Year 2 - Internship - Paid through Bank
Year 3 - Nysc - Bank payment (federal govt).

She also did about 8 months IT paid through bank. Please can we package this as a 3year work experience and how best can we do this in relation to NoC code?.
