The Peace Movement Party (PMP) and the African Alliance Party (AAP) are the two parties that took legal action against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding the registration status of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).Even though I am not in support of the deregistration of NDC, it's insensitive of Peter Obi to be blaming FG about this. Why didn't Obi do his findings well before joining ADC? A presidential candidate that's so disorganized to the extent of not knowing what's good for him Wondering why the opposition have been blaming the FG for their own self inflicted chaos

helinues:He didn't care because he feels no one would dare pronounce against NDC once he is there. What he and his Obidients don't know is that the judiciary are not scared of them and the rule of law must be followed whether or not Obidients feelings will be hurt. |

aswani:This judgement is just like giving them some excuses to make. Peter Obi or NDC is not a threat to president Tinubu's reelection. The court should have considered the sensitivity of the case What should happen to all the aspirants contesting under NDC now? |
| Re: Who Took NDC To Court For Deregistration? by Obiedun(m): 10:00pm On Jun 26 |
helinues:But some people are saying the judgment was influenced by Atiku so that obi will come back to ADC. I read a post now where one ADC member was telling obi to come back to ADC saying it's not too late |

helinues:I see your point but there's enough rascality in politics for people to be allowed to get away with things like such. If you give them an inch, they will take a yard. |

helinues:They don't deserve to be on the ballot for making these poor decisions. They are banking on impunity, nothing will happen, Obi is here, Nigeria will burn if we're not allowed, and similar vibes. |
| Re: Who Took NDC To Court For Deregistration? by helinues(op): 6:43am On Jun 27 |
Image123:Not deregistering the party wouldn't have made any difference as they don't even have structures across Nigeria |
| Re: Who Took NDC To Court For Deregistration? by Image123(m): 6:47am On Jun 27 |
helinues:Exactly. Though it'll be nice for them to lose at the polls, but it'll also be dishonorable for the courts not to do their job. |

aswani:A politician who is perpetually searching for the next platform projects the image of a weather vane, not a compass. He follows the political wind instead of providing direction. Nigeria needs leaders who inspire confidence by standing their ground, not serial platform-hoppers who seem to be in a permanent search for their next political address. |

helinues:I share your concern, but if they win, this banana-peel issue could be used to eject them and plunge the country into chaos. I hope they stay on the ballot. And the idea that APC is scared of NDC is absurd. |
| Re: Who Took NDC To Court For Deregistration? by aswani(m): 8:47am On Jun 27 |
CharlesCNG:In a sense, he is a product of his times as sadly, in this day and age, he doesn't need a political philosophy or direction to be popular, all he needs is a cult following. This is how useless the political class we have is, a strong anti vote that doesn't scrutinise their new hero enough or at all in Peter Obi's case. A hero that is a member of the political class they are railing against, a hero that is in Pandora papers. One that should have been laughed out of the building and discarded the minute he popped his head up if not for the scourge of tribalism. You avoid paying taxes and you want to be President, nor bí see finish bí dat?! |

At the time Obi joined NDC, On INEC page all NDC officials were listed and at the end of each name it states "by court order" A youtuber even made a video that he senses danger ahead because of the mentions of court order because it was not the supreme court which means all the positions are being contested in court. If ordinary Nigerians could forsee legal mines why would Obi who wants to lead over 250 million people not see that there is problem ahead? I think NDC will eventually win but they may not be allowed to submit their candidates as INEC will declare late submission. By current judgement they are an invalid political group and cannot legally submit their list of candidates to INEC. |

helinues:Weak people always tend to blame others for their woes and misgivings. The opposition have continued to show, they are just like many Nigerians, who don't bother to do their findings, but rather, rush in to join the crowd. When shown the error of their ways, they rush to blame others. It's just like those complaining about what Remi Tinubu said, ask them how much do they think an Akara seller should be given, and let them write a proposal for it, and you'll see them rain insults upon insults on you. It's just a pity. The Olodo Uprising is now a problem to the Nigerian state itself. |

What was the conditions which INEC used to register NDC before? How did the party get to the INEC platform before. Is the party under interim registration before? . |

IAM NOT A PETER OBI SUPPORTER...But All these nonsense from APC only shows that Peter Obi actually won the 2023 presidential elections and they are desperate to stop him from repeating it in 2027. With this i personally believe Peter Obi is a force truly. |
| Re: Who Took NDC To Court For Deregistration? by Ezewuzie01: 8:59am On Jun 29 |
Demented Peter Obi is high on hero beer most of the time, so he couldn't know that the party was in court when he used his own legs to walk into a ditch.

I look at most of you guys and begin to laugh cuz what goes around comes around…they took NDC to court bc of what logo? Are the two parties now using thesame logo?… if you are pushing this narrative about using the same lawyers what do u say about Sowores party? If NDC are found wanting they should face the law but do not celebrate the rascality in d judiciary |
