There is no business that is small. In OSU ijesa there is a lot of akara sellers and it is a major sector in the town as the town is on an express road that is busy. I know akara sellers that built houses

It isn't impossible to sell 100k akara in one day and up to 50k will be profit. Some are as big as that and they have employees

However what is wrong is the promotion of informal businesses. The effort should be on eradicating the informal sector totally. Any akara business should be duly registered and the workers should receive at least minimum wage while the CEO is paid above minimum wage. All taxable. Akara business is restaurant business and that is probably the largest sector in any city.

There is nothing wrong in dashing out gifts to any group of people or is there anything wrong in spending your own money as you deem fit?

Some countries have developed to the extent that they are going into space, sending satellites into space and exploring nature inorder to make discoveries, we are busy being advised to start akara and corn roasting business. How would be ever grow and become a developed nation?
