For one press statement signed by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Ememobong, the PDP say although dem still dey wait for the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the judgment, the reported order na serious setback for Nigeria's democracy. According to the party, the decision go further reduce the democratic space, especially after many Nigerians don spend money to contest elective positions under the platform of the NDC. The PDP describe the development as a threat to multiparty democracy and argue say it also affects Nigerians wey invested their resources in the party. The opposition party further allege say the situation reflects a pattern under the APC-led Federal Government, claiming the administration is not creating a level playing field for opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections. The PDP urged the leadership of the NDC to challenge the court order through the legal process while calling on Nigerians to support efforts aimed at protecting democratic values. The faction that issued this statement is not known to law. Nairaland should not be platforming criminal impersonators. The Supreme Court has sacked Ini as the National publicity Secretary of PDP. He shouldn’t be issuing press statements again in the name of the party. |
