Well, if the judge can withdrew its judgement based on the grounds you’ve stated, then I think the judge acted legally. Again, withdrawing the judgement simply means there is going to be a retrial. So technically, there is no judgement to even appeal not to talk of stay of execution. It will be very very inappropriate for the appeal court to even hear the appeal not to talk of staying the decision. At best, an accelerated retrial should be ordered.

We are witnessing a lot of dangerous precedents under your tin-god. That's what happens when you have a paranoid man in power who out of fear and desperation, has threatened, cajoled and coerced all governors and senators to decamp to his party and is now armtwisting the judiciary via proxies to procure favourable judgements that will ensure he has no opposition come 2027. I know that deep down, some of you with a mustard seed of conscience are getting concerned and will genuinely like to see a competitive election and not just a coronation by an aspiring dictator.

It is healthy and normal for democracy and also a lesson for all. It teaches us to tidy our home before we make the picture public.. Their lawyers are expected to advise them appropriately but are only after the money hence the reason opposition will have a field day. Several State gubernatorial elections and Parliamentary elections were carried out under him with opposition parties winning significant numbers. He can only refer the aggrieved parties to appeal his judgement!
Secondly,why would an unregistered political party wait until after 6 months before pleading with the court to set aside its earlier judgement knowing that after 3 months,the matter becomes status barred?

Lastly,INEC main reason in their submission before the court for its refusal to register NDC was due to party logo conflicts/similarity with APC which was proven to be false which prompted the judge to demand INEC to register NDC!
No where in INEC submission was PMP included as defence!

Like I have said before,this latest judgement once again exposes the inconsistencies and apparent weakness of our judical institutions which will further strengthen the argument that most of the judges are in the pockets of the executive!
