It's not worth it at all, except you can stomach all the woke nonsenses that the show would shove at your face across the rest of the seasons. Even the main focus of the show which is money laundry is unreal and inaccurately portrayed.

The main actor, Marty Bryde gets pushed into the background and everything rapidly goes downhill from there. Better to rewatch Godfather of Harlem than waste your time on the rest of the seasons.

It's so much better one is killed in battle by the enemy than dieing because of the stupidity of your own kin. I'm really pissed off right now. Rhaena is one of the most stupid characters in this show. She's been insufferable and wallowing in self pity since S1 due to her inability to tame a dragon. And now that she finally has a dragon, what did she do with it, kill her own kin due to lack of experience.
And who would be stupid enough to try to tame a wild dragon? Rhaena!

At the battle of the Gullet.... inexperience caused Jack's death as he wasn't skilled enough in battle tactics but Rhaena made sure that one of the Dragonriders was surely gonna die with her naivety.

And you'd wonder if she's ever learnt anything being Targaryen and Velaryon royalty. But nah! No brains!!!

A dragon that has never been tamed you carry am enter battle. Person wey never enter a single battlefront. Other Dragon riders have grown a bond with the dragon for years, that's why you get a dragon as a kid. Not in the middle of battle. This is in exception of the Targaryen b@@s_túrds who were given a chance to mount the wild dragons.

There's almost nothing I would give just to see a scene of the Cannibal. Even royal Targaryens don't dare try to tame that one.

And for the people bickering about spoilers, book readers vs show watchers. Chill out mates. It's obvious especially from season 2 that not everything that played out in the books would be followed 'religiously' from the source material. Scenes are changed. Some characters are tweaked. And character arcs are swapped for more dramatic effect or service to the overarching story.

Sheepstealer was never gonna be ridden by Rhaena according to the book. It never yielded to a Targaryen just like its fellow wild dragons of Dragonstone (Cannibal and Grey Ghost). Sheepstealer was claimed by a female commoner named "Nettles". The show just swapped Nettles arc for Rhaena for more dramatic effect and yep, it's a brilliant one.

Even the way Jacaerys died was different from the books. His scene would be way more similar like how Rhaenys died fighting Aemond + Vhagar and Aegon + Sunfyre. Albeit more cinematic.

It was this same predictability that I feel the showrunners were avoiding that's why there's some major tweaks here and there. And that's where the question of "being faithful to the source material" comes in. This way, book readers don't know ALL that's going to happen and are treated to a few surprises and changes here and there. If you like it or not and how the execution was made is another question entirely and that's one major criticism of S2 asides from being painfully slow paced.

Pleasant surprise I must say to the changes made. Anyways, I know one battle scene that they can never mess with or they'll be dealing with a huge critical mess from fans and book readers. I'm hoping it's as delightful as I imagine it.

Let's just sit and enjoy the show.
