Imagine a drug movie having a happy ending. I literally cried when the original power ended cause James st Patrick died even though he did all he could to amend his ways. What I picked out of that movie was “for every action, there’s always an equal and opposite reaction” which translates to the reward for crime is death.
But watching book II, I could not pick any lesson from it. Imagine Kane magically evading arrest and riding into the sunset. And Tarik remaining in the game and even being ontop. Like, was the movie created for babies.
Compared to the original power, it’s a big flop. And I so much hate unrealistic movies. Movies that every scene has one miracle or another happening in it.

well if you ask me, i will say power book 2 ghost, ended well and it ended in a realistic manner.
My point is that life doesn't go the way we thought it to be sometimes.

While it's true that crime don't pay and it lead to death or jail, however we do know that in our world today, there are few exceptions even in the western world.
As long as you play by the rules, you agree not to kill anyone unjustly then you will be save.

I think that's just it for Tariq, in a game where 90% of people ends up dead, he has managed to stay alive, he came out untouchable and that's just it.

Not all crime movies end badly, i still remember QUEEN OF THE SOUTH
The writer was smart to achive it's goal by making Tariq smarter and better than his father.
Though some scene might look to ridiculous, but they never move away from the real POWER movie.
