This is quite commendable. It will show deterence for future criminals in the legal profession and the country as a whole. If we can build a country where justice is served irrespective of the status of the individual involved, crime will reduce.

"Count one of the charge reads; “That you, Chief Mike Agbedor Abu Ozekhome, SAN, Ponfa Useni, and General Jeremiah Useni (now deceased), sometime in the year 2020 in Abuja within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, agreed amongst yourselves to cause to be done an illegal act, to wit: making a false Nigerian International Passport No.A07535463 with the name, Tali Shani, and purported same to have been issued by the Nigeria Immigration Service with the intent of using same to support your claim of ownership of the property known as No. 79, Randall Avenue, London NW2, United Kingdom, and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 96(1) of the Penal Code Act, Cap. 532 Laws of the Federal Capital Territory 2006 and punishable under Section 364 of the same Act.

These are serious charges. I hope he didn't do it. One would have thought that with all the money he and his ilk make from Nigeria's dysfunction, he'd be content enough to avoid resorting to this to prove whatever claim he believes he has to a property.

He is alleged to have forged a travelling Passport to show that a fictional character known as Tali Shani to whom Gen. Jeremiah Useni transferred a property in his lifetime exists and that the fellow has transferred the property to him Mike Ozekhome. It's all about corruption by Nigerian public officials and the Nigerian professionals who help them hide and conceal the proceeds of corruption in Nigeria and overseas. Nigerians suffer when our common patrimony is stolen and that should concern us all. Gen. Jeremiah Useni obviously in cahoots with Mike Ozekhome bought the property in a fictitious name because the funds used in the purchase were proceeds of corruption. When Jeremiah Useni died, Mike Ozekhome and Gen. Jeremiah Useni's son were caught by the U.K. system trying to transfer title to the son. Mike Ozekhome procured a forged travelling passport in the name of Tali Shani to prove he exists! Do you get the picture now? A Lawyer who is found by a court in England to have conducted himself in that manner is not worthy of the Rank of Silk. It is not in doubt that he is not even worthy of being called a Legal Practitioner! In England that finding by the Court should lead to his name being struck off the Roll of Legal Practitioners. The Nigerian Bar Association pretends not to know what is going and the LPDC is suddenly frozen!!! Do you understand the whole story now? By the way, is it not worrying that Nigerians who should be concerned that State funds were stolen by Gen. Jeremiah Useni and used to buy the said property in a fictitious name are here discussing tribalism and partisan politics! What a shame!!
