Your father wasn't in government, he used his personal money to help one man. Remi Tinubu was a senator for years and is now First Lady. People expect someone who has held public office to talk about creating opportunities through policy, not reducing national aspiration to frying Akara. A former senator and First Lady is expected to solve millions of people's problems with governance, not normalize survival as economic policy. And I won't pretend that many of your politicians do indirect vote buying like Osinbajo did during reelection. Where's that program today? Those things are short term band aids, you can't quote them 10 years later and we know why.

Those justifying the action of the 1st lady are missing the main point.

People have been frying akara without needing any loan and paying their own bills.

But today, that you even need grant to start the akara business is already an issue. Also, can the akara business realistically support a household like in the past?
