So I am not even sure how to explain this properly but here goes. We are making a 2D fantasy strategy game and hired three different artists over the past year for character work. Each one was talented individually but looking at our roster now it is honestly embarrassing, one character looks like it belongs in a mobile casual game, another looks AAA dark fantasy, and a third looks like a cartoon. Man, three talented artists with three completely different visual languages is such a common and genuinely painful situation. Good news is it is fixable without throwing everything away. I would reach out to VSQUAD Art Studio first and show them exactly what you showed us here. They have been working in 2D game art since 2015 and one of the things the VSQUAD artists do specifically well is adapting to an existing style rather than overwriting it.
