Please help me out with this situation.
My International Passport expires in 2036. My Bio metrics expires in 2033.
But IRCC stamped 6 months Visa on my Passport.
Can this be an Administrative issue or they are assuming I am going for the World cup.
But my Application carries nothing about going for World Cup. I stated clearly I am going to visit my family who are Canadian citizens.
Please advise what I should do next.
I raised a web form today to inquire why I was given a 6 months visa. I hope they answer me.

No Administrative issue.

And webform won't help either.

There is nothing you can do than to reapply after the current visa expired.

I assume this is your first Canadian visa?

Yes, this is my first Canadian visa. After three tries.

IRCC now issues visitor visa duration based on discretion. It is no longer like before that everyone gets automatic up to duration of passport. Some gets that much while others shorter duration depending on the assessing IRCC officer.

A friend of mine i assisted got just one year despite having ten years passport. I think the decision would be final.

I'm guessing this is the new tactic in curbing mis-use of visit visa. But they should at-least reduce the fee they are charging and the time it takes for processing.
But if we are being honest, people using visit visa to seek asylum wont end . Cos all they need is an entry visa and they begin to file cooked up stories once they arrive. But we the innocent applicants continue to carry the burden.

Lucky you, you got 6 months. My friend had UK and EU visas and was still granted only a 1-month stay. Many applicants even get refused altogether, so 6 months is actually a good outcome.

Please avoid anything like this or anyone promising such opportunities. Posts like this are practically invitations to be scammed or fall victim to human traffickers.

If you do not have a skill, the proper route is to apply directly to legitimate companies. After a successful interview, the company provide you with an employment offer and, will assist with the process for a closed work permit.

Please be very careful. This advice applies to any country. Desperation can make people vulnerable to scams and exploitation. Always verify employers, job offers, and immigration processes through official channels before making any commitments...

no legit employer will take money from your salary ( pay small small) because they processed your closed work permit in any country

I earn a monthly income from my business and also receive monthly withdrawals from my mutual fund investment. For my visa application, I want to state that my funds come from both sources.

Will I need to provide additional proof of the source of income from the mutual fund, or will my mutual fund statement showing the monthly withdrawals be sufficient? It’s only for a visit visa. Thank you.

Ensure your attach both statements, you can also get a reference letter for the Mutual Funds.

Both. Also, get proof that you are the sole signatory ( that's if you are) to the business account. Your bank will give you this it is normally included as part of the POF documents you get from your bank

Hello my people. Long time ! Please I need help. I've been the only one applying for canada visit visa for years. But this time, I'd like to travel with my family to Canada this coming December. My existing IRCC profile is still active. As I was trying to apply by answering the questionnaire, I was expecting to see a link for family application but I couldn't find one. Should I just delete my existing profile and start a fresh application for me and my family ? Or is there a link where I can add my family to my existing profile?

Thanks bro, so you mean asa civil servant it is better to apply through salary and business account Right?.. but I have a scenario whereby a civil servant applied UK visiting visa through salary account and was rejected twice despite the person having children in UK.

Go to canada and come back. The next one will have a long expiry date, up till the expiry of your passport most likely. Visa issuance and validity is always at their discretion. Good luck next time

you are working as a civil servant and you also run a business which is good no one is after you because you do both

The reason I suggested using both accounts is because you have funds in both, and you are trying to prove to IRCC that you have sufficient money to support yourself.

A business account that receives income from your business can also help establish home ties, provided the business is genuinely yours, properly registered, and actively generating income.

Your personal salary account also demonstrates your employment income.

I don't see any disadvantage in using both accounts

In my opinion, using both accounts strengthens your application rather than weakens it.

Can anyone please give me information on passport submission at VFS Lagos. How long does stamping take? Is same day collection possible? is in person faster than DHL courier? She needs passport back before June 21.

Did she eventually dropped off? Or through DHL?

Yes you can drop it off in-person but you must tender the passport request letter given to you by ircc. They dont need appointment.
