When it comes to biblical discussions like this,am always careful not to engage in a debate with heathens and atheist,because it's like the case of beating or flogging a dead horse,the ten commandments are simply guidelines handed to mankind to guide and direct them on how to please their maker and doing so, prevent the wrath and the consequences that follows with those actions and also how to have a cool relationship with your neighbors and the people around,I don't know why anyone would say God has ego,are you serious right now?do you really think God need your approval to be God?do you really think if we disobey Him,He cease to be God?do you think if we steal, murder and commit attrocities, that God will be punished?do you think God need anything from man to make him God?hell no,God is God whether you are a atheist,heathen or whatever,those commandments are for the good of mankind

Jesus modified these ten commandments into two commandments in the New Testament . Jesus said:
1. Love your God with all your heart
and soul.

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

This is found in the Gospel of Mathew Chapter 22. Verses 37-39.



Chapter 22.

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.




Does all morality come from the 10 commandments and the subsequent paraphrasing by our Lord Jesus Christ? I sincerely believe it does. The 10 commandments are the basis of all forms of morality and moral justice.
Love God with all your heart and do onto your neighbor as you will have them do onto you.

It’s actually deeper than the 10 commandments, their are 602 Laws and ordinances alongside the 10 commandments making it all 612.

No Human being born of a woman can attain anything from God by the commandments and by the Law, the Bible says by works shall no Man be justified.

Even Moses by His own Laws and ordinances He was almost striked out. The promise Land being a typology of Heaven, Moses only saw it, He nor enter.

He told them thou shall not kill, Jesus Christ comes to tell them, if You hate Your brother in Your heart, You have already killed Him.
What killed Moses?
ANGER!!.

One of the reasons why Jesus Christ said it is impossible for a Man to go to the Kingdom of God but with God all things are possible.

The only route back home to God is Jesus Christ, He said in John chapter I, for in Him was life and the Life was the Light of Men.

You are Spirit first, Living in a Body that has a mind that is fed by Oxygen.
The moment You drop that body back to dust where it belongs, oxygen becomes useless, Spirit nor dey use oxygen.

No man can keep the law.
You cannot tell me that since this week You have kept all 612 Laws, that You have not had any bad thoughts or get irritated or angry with someone, nobody is good is what Jesus Christ proclaims.

Just set Your heart right for Your God and Father to work out His goodness, love for Real, don't just love for expectations, love unconditionally.
Keep Your heart and hands away from evil.
Set Your heart on the motherless and fatherless and less privilege.
Seek to develop deeper and stronger connection with communication with the Holy Spirit.

You will be very happy as a born again if You accomplish things.

All religions and gods therein are mere creations from the minds of men to suppress and control other men. The sooner you realise this is the quicker you free yourself from the fish bowl syndrome that holds your intellectual capacity hostage of man made religion.

Go back and read the first commandment on that list with your intellect and think deeply what it means?!

The first commandment goes like this:

1. "YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME...."

Reading this critically,you come to realise this god accepts and knows there are other gods beside him but his ego,insecurities, narcissism and vanity will not allow him tolerate the worship of other gods.
Obviously this god knows it is man made as are all the other thousands of various gods.

Except you free your mind and way of thinking you will remain a prisoner of the religious fish bowl.

Besides, do you not have wiz kid, burna boy, Davido, Messi, Ronaldo as your gods? Don't they exist? So as you made them exist go to their doors and land and do as you like and let them save you from other gods and God after all God did call your name when He said you shall not have any other God. So, you can take it that He was not talking to you

Like I said,you can twist and turn as much as you like until you become a pretzel. The simple fact is that the god of the Christian Bible, his son Jesus and all the holy men in that Bible support SLAVERY and SLAVE TRADE.
In fact,historically slave traders in the Americas regularly quoted passages from this same Bible to justify the evil slave trade and equally used this same Bible to keep negros subservient and placid.

Continue to decieve yourself and those you can mislead but be informed that that book is a compilation by men acting as editors and it is an evil book that has been used to manipulate mankind for centuries.
